Bring back family step challenges

I am very disappointed to learn that Fitbit has discontinued step challenges. My entire family has loved doing these step contests and I have found it to be the top reason for buying each family member a device and whole heartedly endorsing the Fitbit products. Please bring back step challenges for families!

I really see this request everywhere and even when looking for a new smartwatch, I see this passing by (that there is no reason for Fitbit anymore). I then wonder why this request is being ignored? What is the added value of a Fitbit now and why is it stated that they value our feedback but nothing is done with the most common feedback.

I guess after all this time and so many people complaining about them
taking this feature away they have no intention of bringing it back! When
My one and a half year old second Fitbit stopped charging (my first one
lasted quite a long time and I only got a new one because I wanted some of
the upgraded features) I decided to by a different kind. I will never buy a
Fitbit again and tell anyone not to get one.

True! I really wore my Fitbit every day. We even had a competition. If you didn't reach your step goal you had to pay. We put the money in a jar and from that we would do something fun. Very motivating! I would often run a lap late at night or take a few steps during commercials, anything to catch up with the others haha.
Now it sometimes sits on the cupboard for weeks because I don't feel like charging it.

For me now, it's more of a watch on which it's handy to read my messages, rather than actually using it for workouts or step goals.

I would also no longer recommend a Fitbit to others. Whereas I used to. My enthusiasm for being able to challenge yourself with steps won over a lot of colleagues 😄

I am very upset to learn that the challenges are no longer happening. This was a huge motivation for me. Considering I just bought a new Fitbit sole to challenge a family member to keep each other accountable. I probably would have gone with a different tracker if I had known this soon. Please bring back the work week hustle.

This was the best feature to get the family and my friends moving...

I just purchased a new fit but after not having one for a while and I am so sad the challenges are gone.. please bring them back.

YESSSS PLEASE BRING BACK THE step challenges!! 😭😭 that honestly was the best part of owning Fitbit and having a community of Fitbit users.

A lot of people agree. But it doesn’t seem like Fitbit cares. At this point
I have gotten rid of my Fitbit. Mainly because the new one I bought,that
was just a little over a year old stopped charging, but also because they
ruined the whole experience for myself and family members by getting rid of
the challenge.

Yes! The challenge feature is why I chose Fitbit over other devices. I'm regretting my purchase now.

I really miss the challenges. My family and friends looked forward to them. It helped you stay connected and motivated.

I only migrated my account to Google as my friend had done it so I couldn't add them as a friend. However now I see that challenges has gone there isn't any point  to fitbit friends really. If I could undo the move I would. And next time I replace I will buy a different brand as all the features I liked are now only included in premium. A big Thumbs Down from me.
