In general I really do not like the new readiness system. It no longer takes into account the previous workouts. One day I logged 208 zone minutes due to an extremely intense tennis match. I was beat up after that. The next day my readiness score was 66. There was no way I was ready for any exercise other than light stretching.
The old system was great at reflecting previous workouts with an appropriate score. I found the recommended zone minutes was invaluable. I do not see the point of the new readiness system.
