Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

The graphs are not good. Very difficult to read and more difficult to understand. Who thought this was an improvement???? Please fix this!! I like the watch, but am very disappointed in the current situation.

Wish I knew. I’m doing some research now. Unfortunately when you pay for a product you expect it to provide the services that you had when you made the decision to purchase!

I did contact Fitbit and got the chat robot thing...basically told me to get used to it, the old format isnt coming back.
I have found my sleep tracker is not getting the sleep and wakeup times any near close to accurate.

Thank you! I hope Fitbit listens!

Why should we have to pay to upgrade in order to get the graph we’ve
enjoyed for many years? This sounds like the new owner trying to extract
more money. They already caused many users to have to buy new devices
after their firmware “update” destroyed the battery life of year old
devices.

Thank God for this knowledgeable backup to what most are us thinking/saying of this atrocious “update”.

The sleep graph is incredibly hard to use

• Scale on bottom is unclear

• Scale doesn’t have hour dividers

• You can’t see the timings of little sleep sections, if there is for example some time awake it’s hard to click on as the highlight with the time just lands on Light Sleep next to it

• Doesn’t have the nice colours anymore

• The time totals on the left get in the way of the graph lines

Please allow us to switch back

Please listen to users and either change the sleep data back to an easier to read and more informative style, or give us the option to change back. This new data graphic is appalling. Impossible to read, lacks key information, is ugly, not user friendly and basically just awful. I'm not even sure what the rationale was for the changes...how can this version be better?

I hate it.

Someone posted that, but I am not sure if that is true.

Please revise the Sleep App and return it to prior to latest  update!!!

At least return the percentages of the different types of sleep in total.

I really dislike the new graph!!

It's very important to me.

Thanks,

I'd like to join the chorus of complaint about the new sleep display but take it one further and report a bug.  I have used the system for a few years and loved it.  I have a Versa 2 and an Oppo Android phone.  When I try and view my sleep against benchmark, the bars for benchmark range don't display.  So it's actually useless.

My wife's system has an equally ugly display but at least it works and I can see what it's supposed to look like.

So I'm wondering.  What platform is everybody using here?  I mean, yes, the interface is not as good, but I'm not getting any inaccuracies when I look at my sleep stats.  The Awake, REM, Light, and Deep are all accurate on my phone, They are at least in line with what I've been getting for years.  The only thing not working is the benchmark view on mine, I don't see the overlay, but I do see the percentages. .  It does work on my wife's.  She has a Pixel 7a and I have a Pixel 6 Pro.  I have a Versa 4 and she has a Lux.

Now, I don't have a complicated sleep pattern, that is I don't get up much, usually once or twice for about 15 to 30 minutes.  I look at the clock when that happens so I  know the app is accurate for that.  Both our phones are fully patched.  Anybody on this thread PIxel users?  Has anybody seen the Garmin app on Android?

I agree. I miss the readability of the previous version of the graph (the colors and lack of clutter). I also miss being able to compare the previous days' graphs on the same page.

At least give us the choice of the old or the new - thank you!

New app display is TERRIBLE!! A 100% downgrade. Very disappointing as well as frustrating. I loved Fitbit up to now, but now I am considering switching products.

I couldn't agree more with this! They keep doing this with each menu, one by one... it is very frustrating. They can do all the new stuff no problem, but if they could just add a another tab where you can scroll through all you previous data like it was in the old app that would be great. I don't feel like that's too much to ask.

If Google is purposely killing/ruining Fitbit’s app, why would anyone trust
them enough to invest in another Google tracker and fitness app? That is
exactly why after 8 years of Fitbit usage, I am now wearing a Garmin Lily
2.

I'd like to add my voice to the pile. I've been a Fitbit user for awhile and the sleep page is the first thing I check every day. This new update somehow makes me feel less excited about my sleep stats. I miss the old view.

This latest updates is one of the worst app updates of any app update I’ve ever had. Please bring back the old UI. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I'm also requesting a move back to the old Fitbit sleep style reading. I find it confusing and very difficult to hold my finger over the lines without my finger obstructing the view. It's difficult to study the data without things moving all over the place. I really liked being able to turn my phone to landscape view to get a larger image. I struggle to differentiate between the colors which somehow seem to be out of order. I hope you will go back to the previous version. New isn't always good.

The new sleep stages graph is much less useful than the old version—please change it back! I used it daily since I have sleep and related health problems. The new version isn’t helpful to me, and I am now one of the long-term Fitbit users considering another brand. Very disappointed!

I overwhelmingly agree with the sentiment across the comments here. I would wholeheartedly love if the sleep interface in the app could change/revert back to what it previously looked like or something close to that. I’ve been a Fitbit user for almost 10 years and the main reason I wear it daily is for the sleep analysis but the new update to the sleep interface makes it more difficult to see all the stats. I haven’t been wearing my Fitbit the last few days and am hoping it will change back. I would truly appreciate it.

Please fitbit team!

My whole family were happy users of fitbit, but with this last design change of the app we are all considering going to a competitor. The app and data analysis is now unusable. We come from different generations but none of us can understand this. Why change it to something so unusable. It was great before. Still hoping it's going back to the previous design. I'm not sure how long we all can stick to this new design before we decide to leave fitbit after so many years.
