Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

At last some glimmer of hope!! Out of the hundreds and hundreds of posts
I’ve read I think only 2 say they are ok with the new ugly format. There
are two different lines of posts in the FitBit community! I’ve lost track
but I’m sure there are a lot more than 2K all expressing their utter
disappointment! I’m holidaying in Spain and I’ve been reading and posting
for 2 weeks now! I pray for a good outcome otherwise I’m gone!

New design is unreadable and overloaded. Please return the old one UX.

Good to hear! I don't see how they can afford to let this ride. Tech
critics would have a field day with this snafu -- what on earth can they
have been thinking?

I hate the updated sleep tracking. It is useless to me & my doctor.

I don't like the new look at all. I got the Fitbit to track my sleep. I loved the way it looked before, it was perfect for me, it was easy to find information, easy to understand the graphs. You used to be able to make it bigger so you could see it even better, the colors were different so it was easier to see all the detail. You could see each individual sleep patterns by themselves or all together (rem, light & deep sleep, awake) This new look is terrible, not easy to read at all you can't click on it to make it bigger, you can't separate each sleep part to see it. It's absolutely useless to me now.

The reason why I got my Fitbit to begin with is because I have several different health issues and a lot of them have to do with the fact I have chronic insomnia. I need to be able to efficiently track my sleep patterns and with this new look it's hard to do that, in fact it's almost impossible to do that. Why would you fix what was not broke? It was perfect before, it was exactly what I and my sleep doctor liked to see. Now next time I go back to my sleep doctor he will not be happy about what this new look looks like because it does not help us whatsoever. You can't even see some of the parts that were there before, they're gone totally. Like you used to be able to click on each individual section that made up your sleep score. You can't do that anymore. Example, one section would show what your heart rate was comparatively to your resting heart rate during the day. My sleeping heart rate was higher than my resting heart rate normally. Now it's hard to keep track of that. You also can't click the other two parts that made up your sleep score, besides the heart rate and restlessness one, there was the sleep patterns one, meaning REM, light sleep, deep sleep, awake times. And there was one other section too. Now all it is in one screen that not only doesn't make sense most of the way it's also mostly unreadable. It is totally useless. Please listen to your customers when they tell you that it didn't need to fix the way it was because it was fine. I don't know if I will be keeping a Fitbit much longer because it's not doing for me anymore what the doctor and I needed it to do.

This sleep app update is a GIANT downgrade!  The information is chaotic, scattered, difficult to read, and a feels more like a puzzle to solve than a representation of data.  The overwhelming feedback is negative.  Please restore the old graphics and perhaps work harder on any new updates.

Yes I thought the new sleep display was because my premium membership ran out so they gave me this harder to read display. It's absolutely not user friendly and it was one of the most important reasons I use the product. Now I might look at other products. It was so nice before, but now, it just is awful. What were they thinking? Please give us the old beautiful easy to read sleep display back.

:hundred_points: The new Sleep tiles are worthless. I can't view more than 1 day of data on the main tile. I can't view more than 7 days on the Weekly tile. Monthly and older, tiles average 7 days. I have 3,285 days of Sleep data, which I could endlessly scroll between on the main Sleep tile.

I agree that the new layout is very difficult to read and clunky.  The old layout was a lot better to get information from.  You could click the graph to find out what time you were in each stage of sleep or awake throughout the night.  These changes are terrible and not user-friendly.

My second time commenting on how awful the new sleep information format is. I may have to change to another brand if Fitbit doesn’t listen to its customers.

Sleep tracking is the number one reason I even wear a Fitbit.  The new design doesn’t provide all the info in an accessible format, or allow you to easily compare with past data, it’s not an improvement. You keep ‘fixing’ things that were not broken- please consult with the community about what needs to be improved and release a beta version for feedback before imposing these changes, or you will lose all of us.

The new sleep view is anything but an upgrade, this is an absolute hot mess! The old version I was able to read everything easily and get all the information I needed. The new version is unreadable and chaos. Whoever created and approved this nightmare should be reassigned!

Please bring it back. Now new daily view only see 1 day review, old daily view can see all daily review with all summary. It is completely different concepts. And the new version is bad, unfortunately idea!

Like many people on this forum I used sleep scores every day. Please revert to the old format. There are hundreds of negative comments but Fitbit remain silent on this ‘upgrade’ Please give us an idea if you are considering this seriously so that we can all decide if Fitbit remains the preferred choice of tracker.

DOES FITBIT/GOOGLE READ OUR COMMENTS?!

I NEED MY SLEEP 'AWAKE' INFORMATION! You took my ability to see the details of the 'exact' times I woke up.

The reason I have a Google watch was to TURN OFF Bluetooth (which without question caused low density in my left thumb) and fitbit did not give me the option to turn it off. Now this horrible 'update' took away important information!

Google respond to the many people in this thread unhappy with this change - at a minimum - give users the option to 'go back to what we had' like Yahoo classic.

I have been using Fitbit to track my sleep for a few years now and as I tend to wake up multiple times during the night it has helped but the new version is rubbish it will only show my last sleep in any detail and the just a note underneath saying other sleep with no information at all . really does Fitbit designers do any R&D if they had im sure they would not have rolled this version out. I'm seriously looking for another tracker now  as with this version it's no good to me at all.

Please bring back the old sleep pattern. I have an awful time reading the new one. How many comments must there be before you change it back or at least give users a choice. I'm not happy with it at all.

My Fitbit died yesterday. Called Fitbit support today. They have no plans to change it. So that’s it. I will be going to Garmin I think. Vital has bad reviews. I don’t want an Apple Watch as the charge life is terrible. If they’d never touched the sleep features, I’d have purchased another Fitbit immediately. Been a loyal customer for 10 years but no more. They’ve made the app dull to look at. Non-engaging by removing challenges. And now finally, the sleep was the final straw for me! So goodbye.

Having reviewed the thousands of feedback comments, I think it is safe to assume this downgrade was absolutely deliberate on the part of Google in an indirect attempt to kill off fitbit which it clearly doesn't want. This is underhand an unethical and I hope Google will learn that all they have done is increase a massive hostility to its monopoly power. They should rather have refunded us so we can move on from this nightmare. I will never ever consider buying a device that is owned and controlled by Google even though I have always found their search engine and other apps useful. However, I will never be a defender of Google again. They have been quite hateful and disrespectful to us and they will instill hate in return. Many comments have been removed as 'inflammatory' including mine, which is ironic in view of their inflammatory attacks on customers who purchase fitbit in good faith. They are male fides not us.

I understand Goggle bought Fitbit and it appears they just paid out dividends to shareholders due to revenues; but this move will leapfrog them backwards.  If that doesn't influence any future product development, then what will other than your customer satisfaction which obviously is plummeting with this new change to the introduction of the new sleep tracking metrics.  Is this alleged 'upgrade' worth losing all this?   It speaks poorly to your term 'customer satisfaction' and 'we care' statements.

Another disgruntled user. Sleep is important to me. This change is definitely for the worse. What could your development team possibly be thinking? This change is just a change to make a change.

The details of the problems have been described by other users. For my part, this may be my last Fitbit. It is time to look for a watch that tracks my sleep better.

Having the sleep score subcomponent scores as a baseline was very helpful but now they are buried under the sleep score tile itself.

It is much more intuitive to see how the sleep score is calculated and then be able drill into each subscore if needed. Without this, the sleep score is just a mysterious number.

Please redesign or at least revert to the old design.

The update to the sleep tracker is the worst ever.  The graph is unreadable and apparently someone doesn't understand what the word benchmark means because now it just shows your sleep.  There is no graph for your breathing rate.  The whole thing is a huge mess.  Used to love fitbit but now it's time to start shopping.
