Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

I also REALLY dislike the changes to the sleep feature, as does my husband. One of the main things I use it for is monitoring my sleep. The new set up is such a step backwards from where it had been! I can no longer view each stage separately. Also, the sleep timeline is so small and jumbled together, it is just not user friendly anymore. I am very disappointed. I have been giving it a chance for a couple weeks now and am just not interested in it anymore. I’m sorry to say, unless some of the features from before are brought back, I’m afraid my husband and I will likely be looking for a different device. I am sure we can’t be alone in this. 😔

What would it take to get the new Fitbit owners to restore the essential sleep feature of Fitbit?  The new sleep monitor feature is ugly, awkward, useless, and very stupid.  The old one was very user-friendly and extremely useful.  I purchased well over a dozen of these devices for myself or family,  often, primarily for this useful component.  I used to think Google was a leader in useful computer based products— do something.

My original Fitbit finally gave out late in 2023 and I have an Apple Watch but I loved (past tensethe Fitbit sleep app so much that I bought another Fitbit and actually wear both.I thought info presentation was better on the Fitbit tracker than what comes with the Apple Watch, Plus the new inspire that I have the battery lasts for almost a week without a charge but this new sleep and everything display is just so awful, it makes me sad Fitbit would deliver something this hideous it’s almost like they hate their customers but I’m gonna make an effort to figure out the Apple Watch. it’s just so disappointing. I have to figure out a way to charge it before bedtime and it’s just an added bit of stress that I don’t need right now. Shame on your Fitbit for giving Customers such a lousy product change.

it no longer shows how much time I spent in each sleep zone. it shows the start and end time, but does not say "33 mins" of deep from 12am to 12:33am anymore. Please fix!

Bring back the old sleep graphs or create a new system like the old. Don't tell YOUR CUSTOMERS you can't fix this & don't tell US  YOUR USERS that it's better. IT'S GARBAGE.

The prior method of viewing the sleep stats was much better. It was why I
purchased Premium. I won’t purchase Premium again. With this current
method it leaves no way for me to see what I want to see.

I have cancelled my Premium subscription that is done at the end of May. Just enough time to hold me over while I shop for a new Garmin!

Thanks Fitbit for your obtuse and condescending customer feedback - I write to express my dissatisfaction with the new sleep tracker and you respond by saying, "guess what, we've updated our new sleep tracker to be easier to read." For who?! I guess you didn’t  read my email at all - or just don’t care. This whole process has been insane. And we are just corraled into this community forum to ease the burden on your poor customer service staff that have been given no ability to actually serve customers. Whoever used to be in charge, please tell them I really loved and appreciated their product and customer service and it really added value in my life. To whomever is in charge now, not that you seem to care much, but I'm one less customer you have and one more voice out in the world spreading the word about how great Fitbit USED to be and is no more.

FYI - I sent an email a few weeks ago to Techradar to suggest they pick up the story, which they did. I don’t  know if my email had anything to do with it, but glad to see it. Its not the must in depth journalism, but it tells the story outside this teeny forum. Next step, reaching out to the editor at the Wall Street Journal. Fitbit, please consider listening to your customers. Don’t just try to wear us down. Most of us have checking our sleep tracker the FIRST thing we do every morning, so we are remembering how dissatsfied we are EVERY morning, first thing! This is not just going to fade away. Step up to the plate and DO something. Or at least communicate and ACKNOWLEDGE that we are unhappy rather than telling us how great the "Upgrade" is. Just be straight with us.

I couldn't agree more. Who designed the new sleep score then compared it to the old one and somehow thought "this is better!"  It is unreadable jumble of lines compared to the crisp clear view in the old system. Someone had to justify their job and just screwed it up. Fix it!

I have thrown in the towel. I cancelled my premium subscription and got a refund from Apple. I purchased an Apple Watch S9 and am very happy with it after just two days of use. My Versa 4 is shut down and in a drawer. The tracker was failing to work properly and the app became unusable for sleep tracking. I have been using Fitbit devices for more than six years. I was always satisfied with them, and it is sad that it has come to this. My Versa 4 is only about six months old and has not worked properly for four of those months. I believe I am due a refund or replacement, but I’ve given up. My life is better without the hassles of trying to deal with Fitbit.

Not only is the change with sleep but with steps. I can't track information that is poorly presented. Do we need to get a movement going on this? I don't want to leave. Did you even do a focus group check on this beforehand??? You would NEVER have implemented this if you had!

I’m thinking of buying an Apple watch after Fitbit destroyed the old sleep summary. Is the watch worth buying or is it just another hassle?
