Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

We will be moving to Garmin soon also. Like everyone in this Fitbit Community, the sleep part of the app is the most important for us. Don't understand why they can't/won't go back to the old sleep score!

I see some posts about  "good idea" but I can't  see what post they are referring  to.  I guess  I  don't  know how to use this page either!  Can someone  tell me where I should be looking  on here?  My eyes  are bad.

Thank you.

This new sleep tracking chart is terrible! Please change it back!!
Other friends and my husband all agree! Please correct it!!!

The new sleep features are terrible! Thin pale lines for a graph that are confusing and hard to see or read. Why are Fitbit allergic to colour now? And you have to click so many things to see what you want. It’s not user friendly.

We are referring to the fact that Fitbit changed the sleep analytics and no
one can see them or use them anymore. Since that is one of the main
reasons we use the trackers we are all switching to either Garmin or
Apple. We have tried to get Fitbit customer service to listen to our
complaints and FITBIT DOES NOT CARE. Therefore we are all leaving Fitbit
and going to other devices. It is wrong that Fitbit has such poor customer
service when they charge so much for services and for the trackers.

I fail to see why they even need to exist. The original sleep chart didn't use them. All they do it make things look more noisy.

Why are Fitbit allergic to colour now?

Google does a corporate take over of an independent company, fires a lot of staff, and brings in their own people. These new people just don't get it.

As a multi-billion dollar company, Google won't ever take the time to listen to feedback. The larger a company is, the harder it is to speak to them.

And this whole Fitbit acquisition was a ploy to cheat their way into the wearable market. Nobody was buying into Google's Pixel watches because Fitbit offered so much more. To make matters worse, Google killed Fitbit Challenges which was one of the top reasons to own a fitbit.

The sleep graph is a confusing mess. It's difficult to read and doesn't show the specific times of awake/restless, light, deep, and REM. Basically its mostly useless. I rely on this feature every single morning. It played a large part in my decision to purchase the product. Fitbit promotes healthy and for me, its less than healthy to start every day stressed out and irritated that I need to attempt to decipher a chart that used to be so easy to understand. Please bring back the old graphs. Jeez, Fitbit, what were you thinking?

So sad that they sold it to Google!!! They are so big they certainly don't care about us!

One of the main reasons I loved my Fitbit was because it was able to help me understand the quality of sleep I was getting and it clearly showed my sleep times. Now, it doesn’t accurately show when I take a nap during the day and my nightly sleep is next to unreadable and very unclear. Please bring back some semblance of what it was before. Please.

I agree with everything that has been said here. I miss the look, the data, and being able to make the view change to landscape for more detail. This is a lot of comments and I see them other places as well. When will we see the change!?!?!?!

Please bring back the simpler sleep page. This update is confusing and not user friendly.

Yes from what I can tell, nobody likes this new version. The other version was much easier to understand. I don't understand    why hasn't been brought back as at least 99% seem to dislike.

I agree with you! I hope Fitbit will see how unhappy we are with the change
and give us back the old summary page!

My versa 2 sleep chart recently changed, for the very worse.... I really don't like the layout, and is utterly useless now. I really liked how it showed REM, DEEP, AWAKE, and LIGHT sleep. Please bring that version back. It seems like it doesn't track as well anymore. I get 8+ hours of sleep, and it registers 4 hours every night. Useless!!!!

I agree with all the complaints here! My husband‘s been hearing them from me for the last week since I updated app. I do understand that some people have difficulty discerning, different colors, but to ruin the color display for all the people that DO NOT have a color issue is idiotic.

At least give us the option if we need an “accessible” display or not. I updated my review in the App Store, and then I found this thread, and the ability to add my voice to everyone else’s.

What made this so good before was it? Every piece of sleep data was set in context. Now it isn’t what I could see in a single screen as the original poster so helpfully included, I’m having to tap all over the place. I don’t need to see my deep sleep as a separate overtime. I would like to see my deep sleep in comparison to all my other stages, and the length of my sleep. Then show me THAT overtime and it’s useful information. Which is what it used to be.

Just noticed today that today's score only counted May 31st and didn't
count the early morning hours since the month had changed to June. Yikes

Please change it back, this new sleep graph is painful to look at and a big mistake. I’ve been a loyal Fitbit user since 2016, but I’m honestly considering looking elsewhere because the app features seem to be getting worse since Google took over. The sleep functions the biggest drive for me choosing the Fitbit, so having such a poor visual really deters me from using it.

@FitbitSupport

In the 10 weeks since you changed the sleep stats. You've had almost 2500 people agreeing with the request to bring back the original sleep stats and almost 2000 comments on the subject just on this thread alone. That doesn't even scratch the surface of the comments on X.

Please tell us when you are going to do something about it?

I agree. The update is confusing and does not provide data. Maybe they will
listen.

I think there have been much more than 2000 complaints as I have over 2000 complaint copy emails to just my original thread alone and there have been been many others.

Unfortunately, we are just being ignored.

The new updated layout and format of the Fitbit app is so unattractive and user friendly it is discouraging me from wanting to use the app. It’s not user friendly and is boring. Please bring back the original version from before Google took it over.

Please, please, please return to the blue color scheme on all screens and especially return to the previous sleep graph! I think the people have spoken. Please listen.

The new update is NOT accessible and is confusing and difficult to read. The previous versions were better.
