Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

@Sebirdie Thank you so much for your reply. Hopefully my Charge 5 holds out a little longer. I’m planning to change to a different brand after the mess Google has made of Fitbit. Thought I might hold out and get a Charge 6 but after reading your reply, I think that’s settled it for me.

They are not going to bring it back apparently because many people have
written about this. If you haven't updated the app (I did not) you might
still be able to access the old one as I have been able to do.

I record my daily walk and if I press on the data for that it takes me to
the Walk page and there is an up arrow at the top of the page. If I press
on that and then press the sleep icon on the next page it takes me to the
old sleep summary. If you don't record a walk but record another activity
it should still work.

Best of luck

Yes with each update the Fitbit app gets more complicated to use, less interesting to look at and less functions.

The old sleep chart use to be interactive. You use to be able to move your finger along it and find out between what times you were asleep or awake.

Also known if I record my walk on my Fitbit it no longer tracks a map of my route.

What is happening?! Why is it getting so much worse? It should be getting better.

The new sleep timeline on Fitbit is a poor replacement for the original.  Also, looking at it on the phone rather than on my laptop doesn't give the detail it used to.

On April 9, the sleep timeline on the Sleep page changed. No longer does it display the stages Awake, REM, Light, and Deep sleep. Now it only shows Awake, Restless, and Asleep. The detailed sleep stages have vanished, as well as the three buttons for Sleep stages, Benchmark and 30 day average! Do I now have to pay for Premium to get this data?

Please bring back the view of sleep data that gives you the past 3 months, one month or 12 months of data points from the current date. One data point at the beginning of the month or year or week that you cannot connect to the previous data points is utterly unhelpful in viewing trends. This data is useful in monitoring mental and physical health.

Greetings --

I want to vote for the prior sleep summary page be reinstated.  The highly truncated and minimally useful version is NOT what I paid for when I subscribed to Premium.  Sleep tracking has always been one of the best -- and for me, most important -- health component Fitbit did head-and-shoulders above the rest. It's one of the main reasons I have stayed with Fitbit.

Vote, everyone, and move this item up in priority!

I totally agree! Is it (going back to the olf Sleep version) really under consideration?

Current app often logs sleep fragment before midnight as the day before.  You have to delete that and manually add to the current day.  This app allows for editing, deleting and manually logging sleep.   I have versa4, might be different for other devices.

Please do not abandon this update most of the time the sleep data is not useful compared to when I bought this product.

To: Fitbit customer service and technical support teams.

I would like to request that my Fitbit App be adjusted so that I can have the old sleep tracker format back. That would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Thank you from a long time Fitbit customer and influencer.

I would love to see the sleep summary come back as well. Sleep is such a huge component of your health and so easy to skip focusing on. Users only have about 10 seconds and 3 clicks of patience, so a good app would keep that in consideration and keep summaries easily accessible, instead of burying information with these app updates.

Great remark. Unfortunately i haven't seen any evidence of user comments being taken to heart. App developers never go back to what works better no matter how many complaints
