Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

Completely agree! I only use Fitbit to monitor my sleep. The app keeps getting worse. Looking for another option. Sorry Fitbit, you are loosing the game now.

The two reasons I subscribe to fitbit premium are for the sleep analysis and the daily walking stats. The sleep app is now just garbage. You've reduced functionality under the guise of improving it for no apparent reason. I will not be re-subscribing unless you bring back the old sleep app.

I do really enjoy my fitbit, but looking at the sleep chart was something I enjoyed every morning. Now I can't stand to look at this new jumble of very similar colors and you cant even tell what stages you are in. Even the heart rate graph is impossible to read. Just do everyone a favor and make the old versions of the app available. You are going to start losing a lot of customers, including myself, if these updates continue.

I dislike the new Fitbit format - alot.  To the point of finding it disinteresting.  I'm a fairly new user,  and loved the old format.  If it doesn't change back I will look to another product.  My friend has a Fitbit as well and feels the same.  All change is not good change...

Previous to the change I liked this product.

I agree, now that the sleep data is not fit for purpose it looks like my Versa 4 is just a watch

I agree. The new design is terrible and very difficult to read. I used to be able to click on certain parts of the sleep timeline to see better when and what may have impacted my sleep based on start and end times. Now, I can't do anything but look at meaningless dots.

It's heartening to see so many people speaking up, but it's a bummer to know this is how it's going to be.

I realize no one at Google (since they own Fitbit and are actively and intentionally destroying it) will see these comments (and if they do, they won't care), but there are many, many people who legitimately depend on this data due to sleep disorders/issues, and are now screwed because the folks at Google are more interested in profits than having products that help people. It's just really shameful how they're handling things. I guess we shouldn't expect any better out of soulless corporate shills.

New update TERRIBLE! Impossible to decode terrible graphics. Please return former daily colored graphs and visuals which at a glance showed how much of each type of sleep for each night on one main chart and then with equally clear bars in different colors showed how this compared to other women my age and then showed graphs of each kind of sleep.I

I can't read the current yellow and black spaghetti of lines.  I will need to find another device to replace Fitbit. Can't use this.  Pretty worthless now. This is a Charge 5 but I would not trust any other systems the new Google Fitbit comes up with unless you can restore the service and readability of the formatted daily reports I subscribed to and have enjoyed and healthily benefitted from for years!!

Great way to increase customer base for the Apple watch!

I should have mentioned I'm a disabled war veteran and have PTSD with
insomnia and sleep apnea secondary. So yes I use this to help monitor my
sleep. Wish they would at least give us the option to use either one.

However, I suspect the decision makers at Google could care less what we
post here.

The sleep tracking screen is absolute trash now.
It's confusing, offers less detail than before and it's frustrating to look at.
The old sleep tracking interface was perfect and didn't need to be changed.
All of the recent changes have just made the app worse.
If it isn't changed back, I'll be switching to Garmin.

You are so right! They have no intention of changing this back. I was told this by their own customer service rep. They told me that they were not about to change anything back. What a joke!

Please go back to old sleep format.  I used to be able to expand the view by tapping on the chart, turning the phone sideways to view and then tap on each stage to see exactly what times I woke up , etc.  It's all gone and I hate it!.  I may cancel premium and look for another watch all together.  Sad.

Please stop forcing change on the user by changing the interface of your application. It forces us to learn and adapt when we are too busy with life. Instead, sell us on the idea of why the new user interface is beneficial and allow us to opt into the interface update on our own schedule.

The new sleep display is very hard for me to read. I am over 65 years old, and though I have decent eyesight, it's not that of a 20-year-old who would have no trouble seeing the display in detail. It would help if the display could be enlarged to fill the screen, as I could do with the old display. It would also be helpful to have a more readily accessible way to view recent sleep data at a glance. Looking at "week" or "month" gives no detail at a glance. Any way you could fold these features back in?

I am so disappointed in the new app update. I’ve been a Fitbit user for years and unless another update is imminent and giving me back the sleep features I have come to depend on, I will leave the Fitbit community.

The new update for the app makes the sleep tracker completely unreadable. As someone with color blindness I am struggling SO much more now with the light background and dotted lines more than I did ever before. I can’t even turn my phone for a larger view to attempt to read my log. Get rid of this cosmetic change, please!

As a loyal Fitbit user for 8 years, I am appalled at the most recent update. I hate the most recent update! A graph should always make data easier to understand not harder. The updated app's graphs are ridiculously hard to read. What was wrong with the old graphs? Please let us choose to revert to the old app!  Also, this morning the app showed no data when I looked for my sleep data and score, and when it finally showed data about 10 minutes later it showed over 6,000 steps, (I was still in bed). The data it was showing me was partly from yesterday and partly from today. I want a fitness app that I can trust. I am sad to say I will be moving on. 😞

Update: I have moved on! I bought a new, stylish tracker from another maker that has a very thorough, detailed app. It is still new so I will need some time to see its pros and cons.

The graph that shows how your sleep scores compare to people your age also isn’t working. This new format is the single dopiest move Fitbit has ever made to their software. Please revert to the previous version!

I am so disappointed with the new sleep timeline graph. It’s so hard to look at and there are no tick marks in the bottom of the graph representing the hours/time. Please bring the old one back.

I too dislike the latest update.  I agree with everyone's comments.  Ugly, plain, hard to read.  The last few updates have been ridiculous and are making the app less user friendly.  Not only for sleep but in other areas as well.

Fitbit is going backwards with enhancements. Restore previous software!  Listen to your customers!

The new sleep tracker is useless. I Will be cancelling my subscription for Premium and looking for a new device if not given an option to use the original.

Please, please change the sleep stages back to the previous format! This format is terrible to navigate and understand. I do charts/graphs and control charts to make data more absorbable, and this does the exact opposite!

I expected Fitbit people to chime in and tell us what they would do in response to these critical posts. So far nothing. Do they even read the forum? Does anyone know how to address them directly so we can get an answer? Don’t they care?

Right? And if it's just a watch then I'm going back to my real watch.
