Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

What did you do to get it back?
Thanks.

I am not savvy enough to know how my post regarding the mess Google made of the Premium Fitbit app began an email chain that has had everyone responding directly to me. I am not sure if your post/email meant that 2000 people have responded to me and I am doing nothing, but I hope that was not what you meant.

My conversation with Google today 5/5/24 about yet another part of the app they destroyed only served to make it completely clear that Google has no intention of ever fixing this and that their takeover of Fitbit was done to render Fitbit apps and devices obsolete. I assume the purpose of that was to try to force us to buy Google’s apps and devices.

What you posted is correct in terms of Google does not care. My conversations by phone w/Fitbit make it clear “Fitbit” as a company no longer exists, and It’s new owner, Google, has no intention of fixing what they’ve destroyed. It is becoming more clear that Google took over Fitbit to destroy it and make its apps and devices obsolete so that people would switch to Google’s.

I am so disappointed in in the new Fitbit Sleep page. It used to be so easy to read and understand, but now you can hardly see or read it and a complete downgrade in my opinion which seems to be shared with may others. I will not be buying another Fitbit if this is going to be the sleep page in the future. Really sad to see such a good feature removed. Please return to the old awesome sleep page!

I got an update yesterday (version posted) and now I see the benchmark
shown. Go to the play store and run the app updates.

on the app there's a log sleep which lookslike to me that you have to
cancel the old sleep and put in the correct. however on the desktop
website there's a link to the old browser and in there you can go to sleep
and edit.

The Sleep portion of the Fitbit app was my biggest reason I was keeping it.
Because the new (HORRIBLE) Fitbit Sleep function is so bad, I am looking at
suggestions posted by other owners who are switching to other products
(Garmin, Oura). There is EVERY appearance here that Fitbit does not
consider fixing the Sleep app and making owners happy as a priority. They
are NOT saying they are going to fix it nor are they apologizing for this
horrible, change.

Why is Google trying to destroy the Fitbit products via the horrid Fitbit app updates?  As a Fitbit user since the original Charge, I have never seen a company tell its loyal users to get bent.  The new sleep tracking is so hard to use and horrid, why are you trying to destroy your user base?

Bring back the old app design, including the old app sleep tracking!

The recent update to the sleep insights is a big step back. It is hard to understand, and read. The colors are also not aligned with the typical Fitbit (cool color scheme). It is very hard to see your swell trends and scores.

please change it back!! This was a major disappointment.. sleep stats are one of my main use cases for using your product.

I may need to start shopping for alternative options soon, as the new update makes the sleep stats unusable at this point.

Google has the Pixel watch. Why should they have any interest in keeping
two product lines?

I think the hard reality is that the market for wrist devices that are only fitness and sleep monitors is shrinking, while the market for smart watches is growing. The tech giants like big markets, not shrinking ones (even as they acquire and swallow innovative small niche companies.) That’s too bad for those of us who prefer a simple, slim device like our Fitbits for health tracking, and prefer handling other tasks on our smartphones. (Yes I know Garmin and Oura are still making specialty devices but I’m afraid the trend is clear.) And Google has shown zero interest in responding to Fitbit owners who liked the sleep data that they reduced recently, and other features they closed off last year because Google is pointed in a different direction. Too bad!

They really don’t care but it is an insult to totally ignore so many customers.
Keep that in mind when dealing with any Google products in the future…and just move on.

They do have the Pixel watch but it has the same app. Their ad states
'powered by Fitbit'!

I have a Luxe. The sleep duration and details on the app since the last update looks really bad. The previous looked much better and clearer. It would be really great if it would be brought back.

With the change in the Sleep app and the wholesale treatment of customers,
it is obvious Google has no interest in their customers. There are a
thousand things "Fitbit" could have done to say "we made a mistake, we
apologize, here's our plan to fix it" .. They have completely gone silent.

The next step is to reach out to Tech blogs and other sources to let them
know Google intends to ignore its Fitbit customers.

Please roll back to previous sleep design ! It’s very confusing, it’s not easily read, and the lack of clear weekly report makes it less attractive. I upgraded from a sense to sense 2 recently instead of Apple Watch solely because I love tracking my sleep! Please bring it back !

The sleep summary page is not user friendly. The Charge 5 does Not record
sleep or exercise consistently or reliably, total BS

They're going loose a lot of subscribers because of this supposed upgrade which is really a DOWNGRADE. IF SOMETHING IS WORKING WELL DON'T MESS WITH IT!

With so many comments on this horrible "update" you would think they would return to the much better original sleep program! I guess they don't really care about the communities input! Very sad

I feel if this issue was truly read by a moderator they would see no positive commments on this new sleep program. All negative over several days with several different users!

Over 62 PAGES on this topic!

Anyone have a suggestion for what to switch to?  I love my charge 5 but the app is total garbage now with the sleep changes (why I primarily bought my charge 5) and I need to find a new tracker.

oura? Garmin? Apple? Amazon brand?  Any others?
