Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

Ah so it may need to be updated after the 30th then. We played our hand and Google just looked and pulled out their ace. All we can do now is leave the table.

The only reason I have the fitbit app is for the sleep analysis which used to be comprehensive, easy to understand and superior to any of the others I researched. Really, it was very good, streamlined and user friendly. I even condemned the inferior Garmin sleep analysis and said it was nowhere near as good as the fitbit one. Now it is worse than Garmin. Practically illegible, no way to track sleep patterns over time... even worse: my entire sleep history disappeared after the update.
Now it looks like it was designed by a 13 year-old. Messy, clunky, dreadful. I am so disappointed with it and am looking for a better alternative unless they revert to the previous version and restore my history! Faint hope - they don't seem to listen to their customers. But here goes: one more vote against this appalling downgrade.
This UPdate was a DOWNgrade.

Very nice summery and I totally agree

That's the only reason I have fitbit is for the sleep function,  and now that I decided to switch to an inspire 3 it records no data at all for sleep, so I'm about to give up on fitbit period.  Send my inspire 3 back since it doesn't record sleep. My inspire 2 did all the time,  inspire 3 absolutely nothing.

Can anyone advise if they have found a sleep analysis app that is as good as or better than the one fitbit has got rid of? I have a Garmin and it is not as good, although better than fitbit's current abomination. Oura?

If fitbit doesn't improve its performance it has lost a loyal customer. Why did they 'fix' something that was not broken?

Where have the votes and replies buttons gone?

I agree with all the September comments above. Come on Google, get your stuff together and fix this!!

I don't believe Google (Fitbit) has ANY interest in fixing the Sleep App. I
have hounded support, I have reached out to moderators. The moderators WILL
NOT answer any of my emails. Support states very passively that they will
pass my comments onto their developers (human speak - hang up and forget
the conversation even happened).

I have asked for a response at least a dozen times. I opened a ticket where
the support team promised me an answer. One day, I got an email that said
they hadn't heard from me and were closing the ticket. I WAS WAITING ON
THEM AND REACHING OUT AT LEAST WEEKLY !!

Any attempts I have made to get support or even empathy for the loss of
function in the current app has fallen on deaf ears. I have simply asked
moderators and support to get me in touch with someone who will take our
problem seriously

I agree. 100%. And Fitbit does not care that we all will no longer use
them.

as someone said this new sleep reading is NOT what i paid for when I purchased the premium subscription. it is difficult to read and follow - esp on an app since you took away the dashboard too. who is in charge of this latest round of nonsense ideas? I've been a Fitbit customer for well over 10 years and this last year has seen the worst decisions you have made since I started using a fitbit,

Fitbit/Google are not going to give in to their customers demands/requests/feedback on any issue with their products and app etc.  They simply refuse to acknowledge what their customers actually want and need in a decent tracker system.  They will only be getting worse with making their users pay for any features that are actually useful.  They will eventually learn (probably too late) that this is not the way to go, as by then they will have lost all market share and loyal customer base because, to put it frankly, their products started going downhill many years ago and are now complete rubbish.  As soon as I've accessed and downloaded all my data I will be gone from fitbit.  The only decent and reliable product they ever had was the One and that has been made a legacy device so doesn't sync with the app anymore and therefore none of the data I would usually access is viable as even a simple thing like daily steps isn't in the pathetic app let alone sleep data.  They are only trying to force people to buy a new product (specifically Google watch trackers) and to sign up to their "Premium" app features.  As much as I understand everything is user pays these days, it doesn't help that the features people want and need are gradually ALL being pushed to monthly or yearly subscriptions and not every one can afford that or even wants alot of their so called premium features.

This is a reply to Kay Wieder who listed her number. I have an idea that
requires a phone conversation. Can I call you?

@joanneguilmette  It would be better if you replied with her name/handle, so in this case @Kfwieder

I also HATE the new sleep app! Anyway to go back to previous one?

I have been able to get to it by going into the activity section where data
is recorded for my daily walks. If you go to the top of the page & click on
the up arrow it takes you to a page that has a button for sleep & if you
click on that you will find the former summary

Hey Fitbit/Google, how many votes does it take to get some feedback? Here we have 2960 votes and no feedback! What are you going to do about this issue? The issues are building up with your inaction. Sleep reports lacking in the usual information, run reports without the correct time, i.e. no seconds, lap durations, and many other unacknowledged unpopular changes. Post a statement for those who have been waiting for the update that corrects the problems caused by the updates. I did no research in choosing Fitbit. The Versa 2 was a gift that I became acclimatized to. Now I'm researching other brands to see if their functionality and software backup suit me. GIVE US A STATEMENT QUICKLY!

If this is about the Sleep app, support indicates it is not going to be
fixed.

I have reached out to support. Support indicates the Sleep app portion of
the Fitbit app will remain the same, uncorrected, broken, dysfunctional

I have reached out so the moderators but the have not replied to half a
dozen attempts for a response.

We are now the owners of dead equipment, as the app has been rendered
useless

Not that I have been able to find.
Good luck.

Every time there's a change to the app it gets worse. Now the emojis are gone from the stress module. It's so dull to look at. Im about ready to just ditch it for good.

I still have the old sleep summary but keep getting a message that if I don’t update by the 30th  of September it won’t function properly?  I guess I’ll find out what that means.  Why give us less information?  It’s crazy.

Already ditched my Fitbit and looking for another way to do this. They do
not care about their customers at all.

I still have the old one as well since I don't update the app, but I keep getting the same message to update by the 30th of Sept.  Not happening.  We shall see what happens after next monday!

Hmmm I just noticed it’s either not charging properly or that is the September 30th thing.   I charged to 56% this afternoon and 2 hours later it said critical battery.  It’s my birthday Sunday so shopping for a new device.
