Bring back the scrolling for all stats history

I used to be able to see the history of sleep hours and scores in a scrolling format, where EVERY DAY was listed on the page, and I could scroll back through all of my recorded sleep. Now, I can only see daily sleep for just the current week, or sleep averages by week/month (the previous format gave weekly averages, but also all daily data).

Hi @kab8, have you scrolled through your history from the "Compose" page? All your sleep as well as exercise data and more are there waiting to be scrolled through.

Hi @magnetix, thanks for your response! I appreciate your screenshots. I'm not sure what the Compose page is in the app, though, or even the exercise report - I don't see any share options except when I click on a specific recorded workout on the "Exercise days" page, and it only shares that one workout. Can you please show me how you got there from the home page?

Hey @kab8 There are two ways to have the "Compose" page to appear that I know about.

1. Tap on "Exercise Days" on the Today page.

2. Scroll down and select any exercise report. (walk, run)

3. At the top right corner there's a logo that looks like a box with an arrow up. This is the "Share" logo. Tap on the box and the "Compose" page appears with Exercise, Sleep, Food, Badges, Weight, Activity, Badges... tiles. These are your historic records. "Compose" because you can communicate with your "friends" and "share" your "accomplishments" by social media and email. Exercise only has heart rate graphs with limited information but the actual record of the exercise is toggled back from Exercise Days history. You can scroll back and forth the weeks and months. Application corruption appears to have lost a large number of the days of the months or a few days of the week, but if you scroll back and forth, the lost info will reappear. Also you can look at your distance (miles or kilometers) to reveal that you did the exercise on the "missing" day and then go back to the exercise week to have the day reappear. This is a corruption that Google are going to fix. Sleep has a scrollable list of all your sleeps with sleep data.

4. If you want to "share" your "accomplishment" eg. Exercise, tap the exercise and the heart rate graph appears with some information and at the top and bottom says "Share". At the bottom are three tiles that say "Heart Rate, Impact, Photo". Tap the "Share" at the bottom and then "next" on the next page and then either "Post" to your social media or below that "share elsewhere" will give you email and more options. I email some to myself for a record on my computer.

5. The second way to land on the "Share" page is to tap "You" at the bottom of the app and then gently scroll left under Community the tiles to show Feed. Tap the Feed and the question "What are you up to?" with 3 logos appears. Tap on that line and the Compose page arises.

There's additional information on the Exercise heart rate graph by tapping the "Impact" square.

I’ve just noticed that in the last few hours my iOS Fitbit app has changed. The “Share” icon (square box with up arrow) at the top of the exercise reports does not produce the “Compose” page any longer but goes directly to the exercise heart rate graph and “Impact” summary for that exercise. This change has arrived without any updates. I’m still using 4.25 version.

edit: Just checked my current app version and have 4.27.1 that must have been uploaded to me this morning. The only way to see the "Compose" page is by tapping the You at the bottom of the home page and then tap Feed under the Community section (may have to swipe to left to see Feed). Tap the line that asks "What are you up to?" The "Compose" page appears with tiles representing your history of each feature like exercise, food, sleep, weight, badges, activity. After inspecting things a bit, there is no Sleep history anymore. The Sleep tile is missing from the Compose page since this update. No more old Fitbit style sleep graphs with simple graphics. Is this what everyone has been trying to tell me? Bring back the sleep graphs Google.

@magnetix thanks so much for the tip! I was so happy to see the graphs in the old app format, with the vibrant colors and easy-to-read info, even though my exercise heart rate ranges are still displayed wrongly. I have missed it so much since the update. The new sleep cycles are so painful to view that i have stopped looking at it…

I agree, bring back the scrollable sleep history. Exercise history is terribly unstable with the 4.27.1 update. Sorry I was trying to tell everyone that the scrollable sleep history and old graphs were on the "Compose" page. Don't think we'll see the blue graph again after this update.
