I agree. I still barely have time to return my Fitbit for a refund. That web interface was half the reason I bought this troublesome product. I am out.
The upgraded app is horrible, I can’t read anything it’s all too small and I can’t click on things like sleep and heart rate to leave it anymore either meaning I can’t get more detailed info on sleep times and heart rate.
this isn’t about not liking change, normally I embrace it however the app is pretty well useless to me now. I have an old Fitbit Alta HR that is overdue for an upgrade looks like it might now be an Apple Watch to match all my other apple products.
Just got a new fitbit and what a waste of money and time. app will not sync with my Inspire and date is wrong and time is wrong and I've reset over and over. Loved my old charge and app that let me use my pc instead of phone that I can't see. Truly disappointed and will not be using.

I one up this. The app is not great for data analysis. I am thinking of switching over to Garmin if Google does not change their approach to the web app.
SO disappointed to find out i can't access app on macbook. After owning a fitbit for five years, I wish I would have known before updating to new one as of last month. I would have bought a different product. Why would such a poor decision be made by the company when it affects ALL the users? And especially affects older users? Hmmmm... I think I may have the answer. Truly disappointed.
Yes please! The old dashboard was sooooo much better! The new one where you see the steps numbers ticking up one by one instead of just the updated number of steps almost gives me a seizure. My brain can’t handle and process all the ticking numbers. I have to look away when I refresh my dashboard.
I used the dashboard on my laptop pretty much daily. I use a cell phone but find the laptop is a better view and easier to see your progress over time in detail. The App on the phone is good to see smaller items like the time of day, step count, entering water intake, but for food entry, tracking and progression of weight management and mindset (mood indicator) as well as readiness score over time, the App is too small.
The dashboard was available and user friendly. One day it was there, the next it was gone. Would it take too much effort to just put it back on, to be available to those who really like and use it?
I don't have a disability, and worked in IT for 15 years. The dashboard that was available (as in used to be available) on a laptop is a much better way to review and analyze your progression towards your personal goals. The App does not allow for a good historical view of any of your stats.
the official response from fitbit so far has been "oh, you are blind and can't see the app properly, use the magnification feature"... which limits what you can see on the screen. they really don't care about people with visual impairments if they want me to use my phone display instead of a 40in monitor.
A web dashboard is definitely more accessible for those who need a larger display. It also provides a more stable experience compared to app glitches. Hopefully, they consider bringing it back.
