Change time on Fitbit device automatically

When you go from one timezone to another and you are syncing you device using a phone; if you change time zones device does not have the time automatically updated. You currently need to go into the dashboard online to change the timezone and hence the time on the device.

You can already tick the box that says "change time zone automatically." That's what I do, and I travel between time zones almost weekly, and it works flawlessly for me.

I don't see a box to tick to change time zone automatically. Is this another new user feature that they have removed?

Sorry for the late reply but I wanted to share with you that this feature already exist on our apps (Windows, Android and iOS).  Just go to the Account settings area and select "Automatic time zone" (just like @GaryTX mentioned) this way it will use the information from your phone that should get updated when it detects signal when you are on a new location/timezone.

I travel a lot and every time I entered a new time zone I have to manually synchronized my phone to my Fitbit in order to get the clock on the correct time.

A great feature would be automatic time change whenever the phone updates its time so you don’t have to remember to synchronize the app to get the fitbit on the correct time.

Every time I travel to Europe I am maddened by my Fitbit Charge 2's seeming inability to reset its time and date. I get no data on sleep, no "credit" for all my walking--because my Fitbit thinks the day is just beginning when I've walked all day.

Cell phones immediately adjust time and date; my Mac does it easily through a menu. Why can't my Fit-bit get with the program?
