Charge 3/4 Manual Lap Counter using button

Charge 3/4 exercises need to support the ability to manually trigger a lap or round. I realize screen real estate is minimal on the Charge platform, but surely there is some way to accommodate both the pause button and a manual lap trigger button.

Hi @charleskn it's always nice to see on the Fitbit Forums. Thank you for sharing this suggestion. I found this other suggestions that might be similar to the one you're requesting: Charge 3/4 Manual Lap Counter using button and Manually log a lap when in run exercise function. Do you think we can merge your suggestion in one of these two? Thank you for adding more information to you request, this will help us to catheterize it in a more efficient way.

Yes, please! Not all exercises need the ability to manually trigger a circuit or lap, but anything like running, swimming, circuit training all need this. Easier to add it to any exercises that show an automatic option.

Hey @charleskn good call! I'll merge it into that other existing feature. See you around.

I just posted something in the wrong place about this, I also want manual lap counters. Either the side button or a face button, I really don't care for my needs.

I'm actually going to dig more into the SDK and see if I can make an exercise that has a lap button, it looks like I should be able to with the dev tools they give out.

Well there's no edit feature, so I thought I'd let everyone else know that the SDK doesn't support the Charge series of devices as of 5.0 released in september.
