Only after purchasing the Versa 2 and chatting with a representative did I learn that I am unable to set it up without a mobile phone. Since this was my 4th Fitbit device I made the assumption that the Versa 2 could be set up via computer just as every prior device had been. My mobile phone belongs to my company and I am prohibited from installing the Fitbit app on it. Had I known this up front, I would not have ordered and must now return the device.
