Control music for other apps on Charge 3 and Charge 4

I'm guessing I mis-read the features for the Charge 3, but I thought music control was among the upgrades from the Charge 2.  Is this something that is or will be added as an App or feature in the NEAR future?  I was holding off on the purchase strictly for music control feature.  

I actually purchased a $30 non-brand name fitness tracker while waiting for the release of the Charge 3 and even that had the music control feature.  It makes changing songs while running so much easier! Please tell me I'm wrong and there is a way of controlling music from the tracker!

Yes Most of the people above and I have the same opinion. We want music controls for the charge 3. I had the Sony smart band SW10 without a screen but one of the most used was the music controls. Please consider it. Thanks 🙂

PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE TO THE CHARGE 3 IT WOULD MAKE NIGHT AND DAY IN THE DECISION TO KEEP MY CHARGE 3 AND NOT SWAP IT FOR SOMETHING CHEAPER THAT OFFERS THIS FEATURE AS WELL AS HAVE A SMART ALARM CLOCK AND A PHONE FINDER. 

ALL 3 OF WHICH IM GUESSING ARE VERY EASY SOFTWARE OR APP ADDITIONS TO CREATE.

I believe that all garmin trackers have it for ios could we please get playback controls on the charge 3 even if it only is for one music service

Yep. Have them on my Garmin Vivosport.  Very simple for the small touchscreen too, but it works great. 

Just a symbol for "Back" "Pause/Play" "Forward".

That's it.  Controls whatever is currently playing on the iPhone.   Should be simple to add as an app on the CH3.

It would be amazing to be able to pause/play and skip a song on charge 3 during an exercise, just those two options would make a huge difference

May i suggest to have the simple music control feature for charge 3,

just play/pause, next/previous, volume +/-. so i can control the music play from my phone.

i just tried this feature from Mi band 4, and i find it quite useful. 

Hope charge 3 will have this feature too

On the Fitbit Charge 3, it would be a really nice feature to have the ability to control media from YouTube Music and Google Play Music that is playing on my phone.  This is a feature that is already available on the Xiaomi Mi Band.

I like the feature of the Spotify app on charge 4 but I don’t use Spotify but I do use Apple Music, I was wondering if you can add the Apple Music app to charge 3/4. Because then I can pause songs and change to the next song on my charge device. Thanks

Please add the ability to control playback for any audio app playing, just like you'd have it on any bluetooth earbuds. I currently own a Charge 4, but I assume this feature would be great for any Fitbit model. Why is music control only limited to Spotify right now?

I would also like to see this added! Should be an easy add since Fitbit is already connected to the phone via BT. What every music app is currently playing on the phone should then show on the Fitbit and let you pause/play, skip -/+ and maybe even adjust volume. If the $36 Willful smart watch can do it I am sure any of the Fitbit devices can handle this simple task!

Dear Fitbit, I love my fitbit and it rivals no others. I struggle to think of any issues I have had with my fitbit apart from having to wait 3 days for it to arrive via delivery for me ahahah. The only Issue I have though is with regards to its music streaming capabilities. I wish fitbit would offer apple music connectivity in addition to spotify
