Cumulative daily step summary graph

I think a simple graph with time (e.g. 15 mins or hourly intervals) on the x axis and cumulative steps on the y axis would: a) allow a nice visual overview of your daily activity b) visually identify where the biggest lulls in the day are to help motivate you c)  show visually the impact of all step based exercise throughout the day (a similar graph but with active minutes on the y axis could also be handy for non step based exercises). Anyone else agree? 😊

You want this on the Blaze screen? Just in case you have missed it... It´s already available in the app. In 15 minute chunks. A very disapointing view Smiley LOL

No not on the Blaze screen and no it's not quiet in the app, the app does not have cumulative steps on the y axis rather it shows total steps per 15 mins which as you said is very disappointing.

Ah, I missed that cumulative word. Thumbs up from me for additional cumulative view. Add tags for where you want it if not on the Blaze screen. Apps and web I guess.

With all the trackers from the Charge on up, they have suto detection of a few exercises. This means a run should have been recorded as a run without haveing to set anything on the tracker or app.

I agree and would like to see a cumulative step graph and calorie burn graph.

Hi @AP84! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing.  I've moved it into a similar suggestion. Hopefully we will have support from other users since more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.

Many of us participate in a company health program and it is on a calendar year basis. It would be nice if both the website dashboard and the app provided the option to show cumulative steps year to date as that is not available now.

Hi @Jmbuzz nice to see you around. Thanks for posting your inquiry here. I'd like to have more details about your suggestion, since on the Fitbit App and the Fitbit Dashboard you have the options to see your steps by year. Fitbit app > Tap on step tile > tap on the graphic > tap on yearly. On Fitbit.com > Click on Log > Activities > Year. You can also choose the dates you wish to see.

Thanks in advance.

But you can't get Year to date cumulative steps (it only gives you average steps per day) on the app

Yes please add CIBC! I can’t use the wallet option otherwise.

@blynk try contacting the number on the back of your bank card. It is the bank that has to add fitbit. Fitbit, at best can only ask the bank to add fitbit pay. It may be better if their customers ask.

Yes, a simple line graph showing cumulative steps would be much better. The current bar graph (especially for 15-minute intervals during the day) is virtually useless. One thing that this would do is help me estimate how many steps I'm likely to take for the remainder of the day. For example, my day is often broken up by morning, afternoon, and evening. I'd like to see stats for these intervals rather than 15-minute intervals. A simple line graph would make this obvious when comparing day-to-day ... or looking at daily averages. But, being able to change the interval times might be as useful.
