I have Fitbit Surge and the option for notification works pretty poor as the messages in Cyryllic are not shown as they should be, they are show in squares.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity and labels.
A little update from my side. Altough I liked my Charge HR, I just sold it yesterday due the missing Cyrillic encoding. It was really frustrating to feel left alone in the dark from support perspective. Statements like "great thanks for the tip, we will consider if there is much demand shown" are just for distracting purposes - the probability of actually implementing this feature is too low, because they won't consider it valuable and there will be no much demand demonstrated because not everyone will go and post it at a forum. I'm really sorry because of my dissapointment and I would be definitely keeping it if that (actually the most valuable everyday feature) was polished enough.
Recently got a new fitbit Alta. Origianlly I was drawn to Alta for the ablity to show notifications such as text messages from the phone. Now this feautre almost useles: most of the text messages I receive are in cyryllic. I can only see who sends the message (because I store contact name in latin on my phone), not a message body. Really hoping to get cyryllic added soon.
I am living in korean, and some of my contacts are in Korean(iOS)
When contacts are in korean, the fitbit charge, Surge, Blaze does not show who called and SMS. so i have no idea who called.
the Fitbit charge, Surge, Blaze is officially launched in Korea, and I am supprised to see that such function is not availiable.
Please make support for Korean and other Asian Languages if it's too difficult, then showing the caller's phone number would be fine. not showing anything is just dumb.

Well, there is everything but 2 things in Alta: hr monitor and cyrillic fonts in notifications. Since crying for hr is too late i am strongly asking to include cyrillic support in notifications. I seriously doubt that adding unicode support is so difficult. I did not even ask when i was buying the device as this is a standard nowdays. I do not need translations, but seeing squares instead of letters flips me all right.
Просьба к кириллическому сообществу поддержать запрос. Речь о шрифтах в уведомлениях в Альте. Добавление юникода решит проблему, а времени не потребует вообще. Голосуем!!!

Same on Blaze. Notifications and contacts containing Cyrillic charachters are displayed as squares. The device is cool, but it's a really bad impression when you are featuring tracker to your friends and here comes notification full of invalid symbols
Really we need to have the Arabic language supported in fitbit blaze watches Or you can share the watch code and let the open community work with you to enable the Arabic letters notifications in the fitbit Blaze watch
Gent More than 420M people out there speaking Arabic Why ignoring thier language from your priorities Why Arabic language needs voting to be added in Blaze?
Also a watchface with HR at the center with big font is necessary for Blaze. The strength/selling feature of Blaze is on haert rate monitroing. Easy read of HR display is way more important than any other information, in my opinion.
Hi, could you please join this discussion and vote there too! I am considering Alta but not without the notifications and caller's name in Cyrillic. Thank you! Alice
