Cyrillic Characters for old Fitbit Trackers

Dear Fitbit,

I have Fitbit Surge and the option for notification works pretty poor as the messages in Cyryllic are not shown as they should be, they are show in squares.

It's a shame blaze doesn't support cirrylic. I absolutely didn't expect that from fitbit. Bought the blaze as a gift, and now I'm returning that piece of crap to the seller.

I bought the Blaze because of its notifications abilities. if it's not going to support Arabic then what use is it?

Seriously thinking about returning it.

In this day of age it is unacceptable for tech companies to ignore multi-language setups.

Returned Fitbit Blaze. Got Samsung gear fit. Supports same fitness functions (and much more) and it supports Arabic as well.

Oh, and its almost half the price.

I was really frustrated when I received my new Charge 2 today and found out that Arabic SMS appear as squares on the watch. Moving from Samsung Gear 2 that I had for the last 3 years, I assumed that in this age, multilingual notification support is a given ! Opened the box, cannot send it back !

Please implement cyrillic support on a Blaze. Without this feature Blaze cannot be treated as a Smart Watch in Russian speaking countries and communities around the world.

Please advise if you have any plans regarding cyrillic support.

Lack of support for cyrillic symbols for notifications really impairs the experience for me.

Phone notifications was one of the functions I got this tracker for in the first place.

I just bought a surge mainly because of its notification feature. It was quite disappointing to find out, that fitbit don't does not support utf8 and all I see are squares instead of Cyrillic letters... It is 2017 by the way. How fast can we expect it to be fixed? The feature request is more then 2 years old 😞

We all are trapped to developers of FitBit and their lack of skills. Sorry about my tone but the problem with notifications appeared 2 years ago and since then the only think the moderators comment is "thank you for support, post of forums, etc etc". I call this BS!

A company that sells a product abroad oughts to support its product as well! Whats the purspose to throw 150-200euro on a fitbit product and find out you got ripped off few mins later? It has been 2 years now, cheap Chinese HR watches on eBay support all languages, is it so difficult to fix encoding on notifications?

At least have the BALLS and MENTION on the package that notifications doesnt work on such and such country!
