I have Fitbit Surge and the option for notification works pretty poor as the messages in Cyryllic are not shown as they should be, they are show in squares.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity and labels.
I would like to request Greek language support for the loaded content like the messages of the notifications and the names of the contacts. At the moment it seems that I only receive square boxes 😞
It's a shame for a 240€ product at the end of 2016 to not have the capacity of rendering international character sets.
I wonder if developers are reading this thread? Sorry, maybe I'm a bit over anxious about this issue but is there an alternative to give feedback to them directly?
It's been half a year, still disappointed upon things like this:
I just upgraded to Blaze from Charge. I admit the screen iAd the rest are great.
Totally disappointed that Hebrew isn't supported. Makes the whole notification feature worthless.
Garmin products do have Hebrew and lots of other languages and way I see it they're your direct competition- looks like you need to shape up over there 😉
Hello, this is some kind of a joke. Got it for Xmas and totally loved it until I experienced this issue.
I'm from Ukraine, but I've been living in Germany for the past 6 years and I work mostly in English, so when speaking and chatting on 4(ru, ua, en, de) languages and getting a watch for 250 euros I don't expect that you will support all languages to set this watch up but at least I should be able to get notifications the proper way. With this bug (sorry it's not a missing feature, it's a bug) notifications work only 30% for me and for all people like me. This is totally a show stopper. Gonna send it back and buy it when you support UTF-8 Cyrillic. *totally pissed*
That's strange. even cheaper garmin supports it and you - don't 😞 I wanted to buy this new charge 2 (b/c of HR sensor) but now I'm thinking about some alternatives 😞
Obviously we are like talking amongst ourselves. There hasn`t been any response from fitbit, which means they don`t care supporting other languages at all.
