Cyrillic Characters for old Fitbit Trackers

Dear Fitbit,

 

I have Fitbit Surge and the option for notification works pretty poor as the messages in Cyryllic are not shown as they should be, they are show in squares.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. Whilst there aren't plans to release this feature for current trackers, Cyrillic character support is likely to be released on Fitbit Ionic. You can follow that feature suggestion here. I know this will be disappointing to those of you using other devices, but your feedback was heard and is being implemented on our most recent device.

For now, we will leave this suggestion open for votes (and closed to comments) so that we can continue to track community demand over time. Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce that this has been developed and released for Fitbit Ionic and upcoming devices such as Fitbit Versa. I realize some of you will be disappointed but this will not be available on other current devices such as Charge 2, Blaze or Alta HR. Please remember as per our FAQs that features will be applied to next generation devices when it's not viable to release it on previous trackers.

 

We are happy however to release this on our latest smartwatches as we know it was a popular feature request from the community. Enjoy!

It would be great to view text messages on the FitBit Blaze in Russian. As of now all it shows is a bunch of squares instead of the letters. Same goes if you’re playing Russian music. The Blaze can’t read the language.
