Don't Discontinue Fitbit Smartwatches

Listen, I understand that Google wants us to use the Google Pixel Watch, but the way it is set up now you will isolate every single iOS user by forcing us to use pixel & discontinuing the Sense and Versa products. Please do not discontinue the watches!

I originally bought a fitbit watch to escape an apple watch. The Apple Watch had too many apps to keep up with, most I didn't use, and its battery life was poor. It was a waste of money.

I wanted a watch with good battery life that would just track my fitness, give me notifications for important things, not every facebook post and insta reply,   and not be hampered by a multitude of useless apps and crap.

Fitbit fit the bill and I enjoy using it.

If fitbit watches are phased out I won't buy a pixel watch- I have an iphone as do my friends and family- I imagine the pixel watch also has a multitude of useless apps I wont use and an iffy battery life compared to the fit bit.

I also pay for the premium service, so google will lose my custom both ways.

Sorry google- don't discontinue the fitbit watches- they fill a gap in the market for people who don't want the hassle of overpriced over burdened poorly functioning smart watches which are just toys.

And I think the zeitgeist at the moment is in favour of disconnecting from emails notifications etc- so you're misreading that too. It's the middle aged that have the money and they're the ones who are looking to simplify their life as they get older.
