Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Please bring back the weekend warrior and weekly step challenges. I have been a FitBit user for 8 years and that's the only reason I  continue to come back as my devices continue to break. I'm on my 6th Fitbit watch yet I'm addicted to the challenges. Bring them back! This change is heart breaking to customers.

Me too. My friends and I have been doing the Workweek Hustle for years now. We miss our connection and motivation so much.

The challenges are the heart of Fitbit... they're what kept my friends and I invested for years and we all noticed a decrease in our motivation this past week. We used Workweek Hustle and Bingo for years and it's the main reason we stayed with Fitbit. Honestly, if they're not part of the user experience, there's no reason to stay with Fitbit.

I was wondering why you have stopped the Workweek/Weekend hustle. I miss  😞 my group and they are a great support and fun challenge for each of us. Hope to hear back from you!

I agree it is not fun anymore with the workweek/weekend hustle gone!

I really enjoyed the challenges and am so very sad you did away with them. I don’t understand why you want to discontinue such a popular feature? I’m now using Stridekick with some of my former Fitbit buddies, but would prefer it the way it was.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that you have removed all of the challenges. It is what motivated our group all the time.  Time to trash the Fitbit for something else

So sad you've eliminated challenges! You've taken all the fun out of having a Fibit...will not replace or

recommend to anyone...sorry Fitbit...I have been a longstanding customer..purchasing for other family members too...shame on you!

Even though they posted a few months ago this dramatic change was going to happen to groups as of  3/2023 because of their new partnership with Google, I don’t think many of us knew exactly what that meant. And I don’t like it.

I am true disappointed in Fitbit-Google decision to end challenges. It was a way to challenge myself with friends throughout North America. It kept all of us motivated before, during Covid and up to now. My friends and I did every week challenge and weekend challenge. I am a long time user (fitbit one was my first) and will have to think about what will be my next fitness device. I know my friends feel the same.

Bring back the challenges. Many existing users are unhappy with this change.

PLEASE!!

I second this our family fitness fun isn’t the same. The challenges was the reason we got fit bit and now nothing is the same.

Challenges are 100% the only reason to continue to choose Fitbit over any other watch/fitness tracker. Bring "accountable" to nameless, faceless strangers has no effect on me. But being, quite literally, accountable to people that will absolutely call me out later, publicly, keeps me moving every day. Getting rid of the challenges will likely kill Fitbit.

I am extremely disappointed in Fitbit, by removing the community, the groups and the challenges, all of which were some of the main reasons why I started using Fitbit over Apple. It just was such a fun thing to motivate. I’m extremely disappointed and feeling very lonely and uninspired now I’m actually quite depressed because of it. Bring them all back. We’ve already been through enough with Covid and felt alienated enough. This was a little bit of happiness in many peoples lives. It’s truly disappointing.

How do I add indoor Rowing as an exercise shortcut option for my Charge 5??

I believe a YouTube video showed Charge 5 had that option...that's why I bought it in the first place when my Blaze stopped working.

What a waste....

Anybody know how to add ROWING??

(Don't know why I'm showing up as a "Recovery Runner" either. I don't like running)

Bring back the challenges! We need the i hustle back. Fitbit you replied to me and said we can still be in a closed group, can’t find anywhere to do this at all. I am annoyed that you would take away the challenges without even asking us, as users our thoughts on this!

I totally agree. The same here. My friends and I are very dissapointed.

I totally agree.

It’s only been a week, and I miss them already!

I’ve been a faithful Fitbit user since 2017, and have bought them as gifts for many people and recommended them to lots more.

My work week hustle group has moved to Stridekick but it’s not the same 😞

i’m just trying to be hopeful that some kind of challenges will be put back.

I’m also very shocked that there seems to have been no communication from Fitbit regarding all the outcry from people.

Agree with every single point from others users, it’s such a disappointment challenges are gone all of the sudden. This was a feature we all looked forward to every day, it kept us invested in using Fitbit and being fit honestly. I haven’t talked to a single Fitbit user who is okay with this change, in fact they’re mad about it. Please reconsider bringing them back, the week hustle, the weekend, the bingo was amazing (it was the best), the trails. All of it. We miss them. They’re extremely helpful to your users.

I am upset with the removal of the challenges. This was (for me) the whole point of getting a Fitbit. To interact with my friends and coworkers in a competitive way. This is what set Fitbit apart from the norm. If Fitbit is not bringing back challenges then it's no point in me having the device.

So sad you choose such a short sighted approach. It clearly shows you are NOT customer driven despite what you say. The one thing I loved about Fitbit was the close group of friends I would do week challenges with. This drove me to purchase a Charge 5 when my “one” died. 7 plus years of happiness snuffed out by Google’s for “mo money”. If you truly meant what you said in your email about some exciting new and better offerings, why didn’t you have them ready for us to examine before you turned off the lights. My opinion of Google has hit rock bottom.

This is BS you took the challenges out. That is why I keep buying your watches. Don't have an apple phone or watch but now you make me want to drop you and so are all my friends. Oh and what private or closed group you talking about cannot find it to start one!

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone posted up bringing the challenges/Open groups back. Fitbit you can't keep pushing us off to the side. The people will not be silenced!

Also has anyone noticed this area went from being called feature suggestions to product feedback?

-----------

you mean open groups. private groups is what many thought of as closed groups and the closed groups are still there. Anyways I miss being able to go and post about my sleep score in the open groups. Also, I still don't get why they had to take away our trophies. It wasn't hurting anything. We shouldn't have to back something up on to a computer just to be able to see it when they could have just left it all alone and where it was at.

If google wants to enhance blah blah blah then they should just make their own fitness app and leave us to what we were enjoying.

Please bring back challenges. I’ve been doing the Weekly Hustle for years with my sisters. So disappointed! I wouldn’t have bought a new Sense 2 after my versa stopped working following a swim if I knew about this. Good to know we are not alone in our Fitbit Frustration!
