Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
Absolutely agree 100% with you jak5280! I’m so disgusted with this whole situation. So done with Google! Will never entertain a purchase of their smartwatch products. Even if they review as the best in the industry some day, you can’t count on corporate to do the right thing by their customers so you may just be setting yourself up for more of the same with them. Lesson learned, Google.
I was told back in the day that fitbit uses the votes on these comments to decide future features, etc... well apparently they don't listen b/c people were commenting, and the comments were highly voted, to NOT remove the challenges feature.... and well... they're removed. so fitbit doesn't listen to it's users. how sad.
Bring back the daily FitBit steps challenge!! An important and constant encouragement to get off one’s duff, while simultaneously engaging and competing with ten family and friends!
At this point, the chances of them bringing the challenges back are slim to non-existent since it'll have been one month this coming Thursday April 27th when they got rid of them. Even if they did bring back the challenges, I've moved on to using an Apple Watch and wouldn't entertain coming back to Fitbit with how they've treated their users by not only getting rid of the challenges without having something to replace them, but also with their lack of empathy, sympathy and clearly not caring about how their customers feel considering how many people have posted comments on here in nearly the month since the challenges were taken away.
This is just like Zynga closing popular games people want, or Hollywood and Disney creating woke movies when most vote against them. Is this the beginning of the end where everything we want gets taken away?
Challenges and adventures are gone. I read that google is planning a new platform and fitbit users will have no choice to transfer to this platform by 2025.
It doesn’t appear that they’re coming back from what we gather by the lack of concern by FitBit/Google. I also miss the badges, four day streak notifications and such. They said they needed to remove the challenges and badges to make the platform preform properly. They’re proposing more features but so far all I see is a stupid option for daily metrics. They obviously lost touch with their audience/customers.
I will not purchase another Fitbit product. It’s ridiculous to take away the most motivating parts of Fitbit. Really, what is the point now. No challenges?!?
