Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
@SunsetRunner agreed. Honestly how they handled the rollout has me more angry than removing the challenges. that is what will push me more to something else.
I understand completely the way that things have been handled isn't very good. All you get is a generic response which everyone is tired of but they don't care about us or we would get a better response from them they don't care so I've decided to leave as well.
Everyone is leaving. Right now would be a great opportunity for someone to implement challenges into their watches or trackers. People would buy into it!
Yes but what changes? Challenges are helping lots of people and they love doing them. It helps with their wellbeing and health care well as keeping in touch with a lot of family members across the globe. It will be a massive mistake to remove the challenges
absolutely best part of Fitbit and having all yours friends/family connected up. I love collecting badges with walks and all the different types. Been loyal to Fitbit for years but would consider using other products if they had these features.
But the challenges are far from underutilised. I think its clear from the comments and posts that this is one or the main features that people use and why we own a fitbit and why I haven't moved to any of your competitors.
What a horrible idea. Get rid of the most useful feature at this time. There is nothing like competing with others to encourage good fitness. I am disappointed and wish I would have heard before purchasing a Fitbit.
I totally agree that they should rethink this issue and if there is going to be an update for everything they are removing wait until the update is ready to be released and they should keep things the way they are until then but they don't seem to care if we all leave. They will only have users who don't participate in challenges and I wouldn't think that would be very many.
You guys really need to share what exactly you have planned to replace these disappearing features as people are jumping ship left, right, and center. Removing features before replacing them is like removing a wheel on a car and then claiming it's fine to drive.
This statement does not directly address the issue at hand - challenges, adventures, games. If Google has designs on replacing the challenges with like challenges, then they need to tell us, specifically that and when, otherwise you are just throwing out useless platitudes. Please directly address our concerns regarding the “sunsetting” of challenges, games, adventures and badges.
I agree 100% that Google fitbit needs to address the issue of "sunsetting" Which involves
Challenges and adventures,Trophies and open groups. I assume that Badges for Adventures will disappear But not sure about that. We are being ignored and if you post something on the fitbit Facebook page you get a generic response which everyone complains about you would think that they would care about losing Customers but apparently they don't.
Fitbit could definitely use some improvements but it’s only gotten worse since google took over. Now Google is removing all of the challenges that was one of the features everyone liked. People are leaving in droves. Why can you keep a good thing and improve on instead of destroying it?
My fitbit screen just stopped turning on today. Challenges were the only reason I stayed with Fitbit the last time my device died. On the plus side, it's made it much easier to move on?
I agree. I was contemplating fitbit premium to keep some of the challenges we currently use. The bingo especially inspires both my mother & my son to go out for daily activity. I will no longer feel obliged to stay loyal to fitbit once these are removed.
