Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Read it in another discussion: try Stridekick.com for challenges with your friends. You can connect with all kind of devices. So we can switch to Apple or another device for our challenges!

byebye, Fitbit.

see ya later fitbit... will be switching to another smart watch once this one dies ( which based on past experience should be soon)  you cleary don't listen to what your users want.  the challenges was the only reason i stayed loyal. good think stridekicks is around and connects to all devices

I could not be more disappointed with the offerings that Fitbit had in their app this morning 🙄.... Although I qualify for a year of free premium on two of my Fitbits .. I declined. I unfortunately have lost confidence in Fitbit. Free premium Service likely requires me to provide credit acted info😳😳😳 ummmm ... No thank you. Over the years, I have given Fitbit more than enough money through the purchase of 14 trackers. Fitbit... What happened to excellent customer service? That involves listening to people's questions and concerns and finding solutions. You Didn't take time to listen to us... Not at all 😳 I have lost fish and trust in you Fitbit 🙄 I'm very sad to say that .

I woke up to too many frantic messages to count from people in my various groups, looking to me for leadership.   I have been very positive with all of them encouraging people to join stridekicks and friend me....  For weeks ...   We will continue to have challenges, but it is very  stressful and difficult for myself and others.  It's causing emotional and physical harm to many of us.... So sad that u didn't take the time to listen Fitbit 🙄🙄🙄

I'm Exceedingly disappointed... It's so hard to stay positive and to continue to lead and guide people on their fitness journeys, when my heart is shattered... Fitbit 🙄🙄🙄 you did not listen .    You did not care

The new features that I have seen, are of zero interest to me.   So disappointed Fitbit 🙄

Would suggest going the opposite way and creating more challenges for ex cycling, swimming and evolving the bingo-challenges.

This was a feature that connected me to family and friends - this was why when my first two fitbits failed I bought a third.  There will not be a fourth as this is the feature I used most.  I guess I will see what collaborative options are available on competing products  WTH

100% to all of these comments! I use Fitbit for solely the challenges and trophies, I see little point in sticking if this is the case! I loved Fitbit so so much and have been a loyal customer for years, but this is me think about elsewhere

What are the “new” offerings”???? I don’t see anything different. This is straight up BS!

I cannot believe fitbit has removed the challenges. We use this every week.

I think this is a huge mistake. There are six of us on one challenge each week and they've all said the same. This is just one of the challenges I participate it. Its really motivating.

It's one of the main reasons I have stayed with Fitbit for the last six years. I'll start looking at other smart watches now

Looks like lots of people are going to Stridekick. Free and you can
challenge your friends and they don't have to be on Fitbit. Can join
other group challenges too. If my Fitbit goes bad I won't be replacing
it. Fitbit made their choice. Now the leaving starts.

The challenges and games were already in place. What possible reason could you have for deleting them? I kind of hope the company tanks over this. Worst customer relations ever deserve consequences.

The Google watch is hideous and it currently costs $300. Won't be buying
that. It is ugly and boring.

This is a great motivator and accountability feature with our groups. This is the main reason we chose Fitbit.

I never really looked at the old offerings short of the challenges (daily, weekly and weekend) that they have removed...   But the stuff that is out there now...  I have ZERO interest in .... If I could show something much less than ZERO...  I would

I also agree. My wife and daughter have apple watchers. The only reason I don't have an apple watch is that their community does not have the challenges nor able to track each others steps. I've had a fitbit since 2016. bring back the challenges.

I 100% agree! The reason I chose Fitbit over other devices. Such a fun way to stay motivated and connect with friends and family. Boooo on this decision.

actually with this feature now gone, it opens the door to finally upgrade to a better fitness watch. the only reason i stuck with this one is because it allowed me to do the challenge with my family. now i cant might as well leave. and encourage them to do the same

Shame on your for making me a loyal Fitbit customer! I've been thru 4 different Fitbit and my last purchase was a Google Fitbit Sense 2. I had a choice to get the Google Pixel watch to go with my Pixel 7 pro but instead I went for the Fitbit Sense 2. The challenge keeps me motivated and keep myself in contact with friends and family that I don't get to see or speak to. There are days when I just don't have the energy to move after work but looking at the challenges it motivates me and encourage me  to do a few more stops to reach my goals. Whoever decided it was a brilliant! Idea to take the challenges away must don't own a Fitbit to realize it's the reason we are loyal customers to the brand.

Won’t do any good, wasre of time. I’ve moved on to Stridekick, am participating in 3 challenges currently, now have the option to chuck my Fitbit Sense and get what I really want. Why even look back?

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures!

What a drag to open the FitBit app and have no challenges whatsoever.  I have two FitBits that will eventually die and I can guarantee they will not be replaced by the "latest and greatest" that FitBit/Google offers in the future.  The good thing that comes out of this is that if I lose or break my FitBit it won't break my heart.

FitBit has not not even expressed any sort of remorse for upsetting the faithful customers that have stayed with their product through the years.  Too bad customer opinion is so low on the totem pole. You've shown me who you are, FitBit, and I hear you loud and clear.

Learned that all of the thousands of outcries on the discussion forum regarding Fitbit/Google’s elimination of all challenges and adventures as of today are not moderated or read by the company. So as suggested, moving over here to Feature Suggestions to voice my outrage. To repeat:

This is by far the most asinine business decision I've seen in a long time. Removing all challenges and adventures basically takes away the main reasons I've stuck with Fitbit. I participate in up to 5 or 6 challenges a week, and do some of the adventures, too. This will reduce this thing to basically a step counter, since the floors climbed feature has NEVER worked on my Sense (I climb at least 10 flights a day and rarely get credit for even one). Where will the motivation to move be now? So, I guess it's on to the Apple watch my son has been trying to sell me on. I'd highly advise Fitbit (Google) to reconsider this quickly, as they are going to be hemorrhaging users.

I have no confidence whatsoever that this will make a difference, though. I think Google is intentionally torpedoing Fitbit so they can promote their own products. They bought the company just to destroy it  I was really unhappy to hear that Google had purchased Fitbit in the first place, as I don’t trust the giant monopoly of Google as far as they could be thrown.
