Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

I'm shocked the challe ges have disappeared. This is an unique feature that many people use to stay in contact. The use of the challenge ge is quickly access and enables myself and many others to stay motivated and  connected. The removal has given isolation as the use of the site is very clunky. Bring back the workweek challenge

We are looking into stridekick for our group. No need to buy a new device!

Stridekick is ok. We just did it. What’s nice is anyone can join and use any device. So when you need to replace you can decide what you really want.

Please bring back the challenges!!!!  Those help keep my family and I accountable to getting our 10,000+ steps a day.  We have been doing the Workweek and Weekend challenges forever.

I had a whole fitbit community of friends and we competed every single day with each other. We are all incredibly disappointed by the removal of this feature and many of them are already shopping different fitness watch brands

Same here!!  Not happy with Fitbit!  New watch will NOT be a Fitbit if challenges aren’t brought back soon!!

Please bring back the Workweek Challenges! It's what got us thru the last 3 years, whats the point of Fitbit now? I don't want another app to message my friends with. This is not about messaging this is about health and competition. Bring it back!

You have over a thousand people asking for this feature back and you guys are still not currently planning on it? What is wrong with your product team? Bring back the challenges.

Bring back the challenges! They were the best part of the app!

No point of having Fitbit if there’s no challenges.

Still no plans to bring back the challenges?  I was really hoping you would at least have offered us an alternative before taking away the reason so many of us have continued to support Fitbit over the years... and we are just the vocal ones actively telling you WHY we bought Fitbits.  I have barely even looked at my Fitbit app this week because it makes me too sad.

Yeah it’s weird I am still in this invisible challenge with one person from my group.

Unless you catch a notification on your phone then it’ll take you to it

Yes, I've been doing that all week.  (Catching the notifications to open up the challenge we started before Monday)  I was hoping that at least the challenges could continue in the background next week too.. but when I go to create a new challenge (which you can still do from the badges/trophies page - where they have deleted all of information) no-one gets the notification so I guess this last week will be it 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 #sosad #fitbitisnomore

You have made a terrible mistake by eliminating challenges. I have been in a weekly challenge with a friend for over 5 years and it has been a huge motivator for both of us.

Having removed Challenges from the app is not good customer service. Changes for an online service should be a seamless, beneficial, and smooth transition to the end user. While Fitbit works on their changes it should not diminish the features that were made available to the users. I would like a refund for my Fitbit purchase.

I bought a Fitbit when they first came out, and loved it. i bought one for my mom, dad, aunt, and many girlfriends through the years. we have all had about 5 or 6 each now. so many times people have asked why i havent changed to apple watch. i said because of the challenges that we set up so many friends and family. now that Fitbit isnt making money off challenges, they are eliminating them. none of us will be getting new Fitbits. i am already looking for my first apple watch. this came just in time, as my band on my Fitbit broke. once we leave, we will not be back. and i used to get so many thanks for setting up the challenges and pushing people.

I am also on my last Fitbit. So sad. It’s what made Fitbit unique.

Challenges provided a way for users to connect & communicate with one another with exercise goals making it fun to participate. It’s unfortunate that at a time when the importance of community and engagement is so great, that it has been removed from your app. I would like challenges to return. Future purchases for products will be directed to a more user-friendly product/organization otherwise.

This section is no longer "feature suggestion" but "product feedback" instead.

So here's the feedback:

While I did not use these features as much some users here, I am still disappointed in Fitbit for the removal of open groups, challenges, bingo, and adventures because of the response from customer support reps, Fitbit, and Google. The response from these parties to remove features (some paid for with premium) without clear plans or ideas to replace them and empty, c+p replies is killing faith that Fitbit will deliver anything of value. My premium runs out in October, so that's my deadline for Fitbit to make good on its promise "to enhance the Fitbit app and integrate Google technology to create even better and consistent experiences in the future." I created a challenge in StrideKick for now and once my Fitbit dies, which it will soon, I’ll switch to apple.
