Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.
The best part of Fitbit was challenges! I used it daily and was super motivating for me to get the steps in. Days that I was too tired and would’ve just stayed sitting, I would get up and walk more just because my friend has more steps! I personally got more people to buy Fitbits just so we could do challenges!!
The only reason my whole family (10+) even use a fit bit is because of the challenges, this is motivation to get up and move, without this feature being replaced with a better feature for challenges, we will all most likely all move away from even wearing the devices. Bad move on google.... 😞
Can’t believe they went through with removing the challenges! We had a group of us do it every week. Highly motivating. So disappointing. It’s what made Fitbit and literally the only reason I stayed. I’m due an upgrade soon and if it’s not reinstated I will be going over to apple like many others on here.
Challenges are the basic reason I and my friends have fitbits. For years we have done a workweek hustle. It’s fun, keeps us connected and feels very personal. Reconsider their removal please.
I 100% agree! Please bring them back, it was such a great motivation for my family and it helped us stay connected. My husband, daughter, mother, father, sisters, brother, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and nieces all have fitbit SO WE CAN DO CHALLENGES! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK.
Disappointed challenges including work week hustle have been removed. A group of us have used this facility every week for several years. We are all over 60 & it has helped enormously. None of us will buy Fitbit again unless the function is brought back.
I 100% agree. I have used Fitbit for years and stuck with it because of the challenges! My friends and I do weekend and weekly challenges every week. I think you will lose so many people because of this. I got a new Fitbit for my birthday not long ago. If I would have know about this I would have looked at other alternatives. I believe this is the absolute worst decision Fitbit could have ever made for their business and customers.
I just realized I've been busting my butt every day to get 20k or more steps. I realized the only reason I was getting that many was because I needed to make bingo moves. Without bingo what's the point of premium? Fitbit just committed suicide. I used my Xmas money to buy a new Fitbit specifically for Bingo. How do I get my money back? I don't want this stupid watch anymore.
When I got this email, I didn't think anything of it. However, it didn't dawn on us until today when my sister and I went for the Work Week Hustle. Come on! This was a very strong motivator for us to get our steps in. What are they going to do to replace this wonderful part of FitBit?
Agreed. What the point without the challenges? And the new feature is awful. It took us forever to find, didn't send out notifications, and took time to find so we could accept. And now we've joined, but still doesn't display who's in the challenge correctly. Whoever gave this the greenlight needs fired.
I recently just bought the versa 2 in February just to get back into the challenges (work week hussle) with friends and family. I did not see this coming, had I known in advance of this I would never have bought another Fitbit. If Fitbit doesn’t come out with something similar to the challenges I will be charging my Apple Watch and switching back over.
@Abster37 , we had a challenge going and I was just notifies that I passed another member of the challenge! Weird! Somebody on here said that Stridekick is a Google app. Is that true? If it is, then I wonder if my notification came from Stridekick via Fitbit? Which would also be creepy.
