Elevation on walks

Elevation seems to be available on the app on other exercises but on walking it’s not shown on the activity summary. I’d like to see the elevation change on the walks I go on without having to selecting a hike as the exercise to see it.

I did wonder wht there was a hike option.  Fir me it might make more sense than using "walk" if only for my own couriosity.

Elevation for other exercises has never been available through the app. However as with Run and Bike, your walk elevation may be found at fitbit.com.

However it may be more productive to add your vote to the 200 votes in the existing suggestion.

Came here to suggest this.  Didn't know it was on the hike option, I'll start using that but there seems to be no reason it's not on walk.  It's on run, and I walk my routes prior to running them as reconnaisance so I would find this feature super helpful.
