Enlarge and brighten battery life indicator on Charge 5

On the Charge 5, tfont used to show the remaining battery life percentage on the screen with all the current performance stats is too small and due to being grey rather than white, almost unreadable.

I would like to request that the font be enlarged and use a brighter color so that it can be read more easily.

Thank you.

Hai there..
Indeed, from Fitbit's side, no response....
So far, I solve it by a reminder on the Charge5 but also by keeping track of my data almost daily: when syncing, the battery status always appears at the top left of the app.
I wonder is the battery indicator has been changed for the Charge 6 🙂

Still no response from Fitbit!! This issue dates back to December of 2021!  How has Fitbit not addressed this yet?  Given that the device must be recharged at least once a week, an argument can be made that the battery percentage is the second most important piece of data that ought to be displayed (still have to rank time as first!).  Come on folks - give this suggestion some up votes!!  Apparently that is the only way Fitbit will pay attention.

No f79+{#}]]}ng point. Someone posted the same thing before me and since, or at least close enough. Nothing gets many votes and even if it did it is pointless. They don’t really want to hear from customers and when they do, they dont care.

It feels like they sit in windowless offices thinking of useless changes to maintain job security and completely ignore product users because we couldn’t possibly know anything about the devices we’ve spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on.

My expectation was that Fitbit support and product enhancement would improve when Google took over but things don’t appear to be much better. I will certainly be looking at other platforms when my device is due for replacement.

Really?  I had exactly the opposite feeling when i heard google was taking over.  A year ago I’d have said different but google used to be responsive for maps changes. Now they don’t fix things and don’t respond.  They’ve made changes like crazy to Fitbit, taking away functionality and zero response to this issue as far as i can see.  I don’t want to check the app every minute to check the battery and i laughed when someone said they can see the indicator if they use a magnifying glass. Yeah, go for a jog with a magnifying glass around your neck and get black eyes from it bouncing around, but yeah, i can check my battery.

if it was me, it wouldn’t have been programmed that way to begin with but that’s me.  People keep sending me messages about this.  I cant fix it even though i would love to.  Get me a job at google, and it will be fixed!

After synchronisation the remaining battery charge appears in the corner on the left side.

duh! I think if I and everyone else are commenting it is to small and too faintly colored, we know where it is.

google doesn’t even want users talking with each other.  All the links in messages just take you to the random home page and you have to search to get back to the conversation.

don’t know what google wanted fit bit for since they seem to be destroying the product functionality.  I’m guessing they won’t be making any more and maybe they think customers will switch to their big clunky watch.  Nope!
