Favorite section for recently used Clock Faces

It would be helpful when the settings for a clock face will be remembered even after installing a different clock face. That way, you could occasionally swap the clock face and go back and forward without having to customize it every time. These settings shouldn't have to use too much storage and could be stored on the phone of the user, so that they'll get loaded in as defaults whenever a clock face is installed again after some time.

How many people need to request this before something is done? This whole forum seems pointless. We have had no response, no feedback, nothing. Fitbit just don't care.

There are many great watch faces out there, but there isn't a good way to revisit the ones you like.  I would love to switch them out for the holidays, etc. but I know that by doing so I will lose the one I use most regularly.  Once I change  it out there is no guarantee I will find it again.  There needs to be a list somewhere in the app (probably the face store thingy) of the user's most recent, or even a list of favorites.  Have a toggle button where the user can "like" the face to add it to their list.  I believe this would make it more enjoyable for most users.

Hi @LakenEllizabeth! Great suggestion, thanks for sharing. I've moved it into a similar request. Hopefully we will have support from other users since more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains.

Two issues regarding the Versa clock face(s)...

1. The Versa Lite default clock face includes the day of the week in the date. Why is this not true for the Versa?

2. I've seen a lot of discussion about the MM/DD vs DD/MM date format as being a US vs The World issue. As anyone who's ever been in the military knows, this is not an "either or" case. I was in the US Army 40 years ago. I have used the military format for dates ever since: DD Mmm YY; the number-only short version of this would be DD MM YY.

Fitbit: I and scads of others would appreciate you incorporating this functionality into your devices, allowing users to choose THEIR preferred format.

MI 110% agree that it would be EXTREMELY helpful if the settings for a clock face can be remembered after installing a different clock face. That way, you can swap out clock faces between ones you’ve purchased and ones offered by Fitbit. In fact it should be able to save the faces we buy and include them in a category called “Purchased Clock Faces”. This is my third Fitbit watch. If something doesn’t change I’m contemplating buying the Apple Watch. Don’t want to ... but will if this doesn’t change.

I wish we could be able to save or favourite different watch faces, then we would be able to switch them easily instead of constantly searching for the one we want

I love the fitbits!! However, it is annoying to have to search again for your favorite watch faces. I would be great if fitbit would add a Favorites watchface category; or add a "locker" like the old Pebble watches!! I hope that you guys at Fitbit would make this a high priority!!!

In looking at the Android App there are two tabs:      MY IONIC     |     ALL CLOCKS
If there was a third tab as suggested MY FAVORITES

In that favorites it would keep:
1) Favorite or purchased clock faces -- and keep the activation code for that clock face.

2) Keep the settings for the clock face. Some are exceptionally customizable -- e.g. Lignite clock faces.  Being able to keep the payment code and the settings with each clock face would be helpful.

3) Being able to go to MY FAVORITES tab and select from favorites and have them immediately be active with the settings and payment code (if applicable) finished.  A great part of Ionic/Versa is the ability to choose how it looks. Different clock faces and settings on those clock faces. Personally I change mine every 2-3 weeks. Since it's not easy to get back to a prior clock face I've purchased and configured (redoing the settup since the app doesn't keep the data yet) ... I tend to change it when a new Lignite clock face I like is released. And they go out of their way to provide the code so it's at least in the email coming from them with the new clock face.  Hopefully FibBit can prioritize this change. The passionate users of the more advanced FitBits (smart watches) utilize this type of customization much more than on the regular trackers.

Thanks for considering three tabs for CLOCK FACES:

MY IONIC     |     MY FAVORITES     |    ALL CLOCKS

Sounds like common sense. The Fitbit has not had a upgrade since it was released. A year and half ago.
Fitbit teases us on March 6, 2019 saying that a major upgrade will be coming out soon. Well, when is soon.

Fit bit is a joke! I have lost all faith in them. They will come out with
it but you'll have to buy a new watch!
I'm waiting for the Pixel watch or going to Samsung. I'm over Fitbit!!!!

Can you change the clock face on Fitbit Versa with a Windows 10 HP Laptop?

I will be changing to the Google pixel watch when it comes out. Fitbit have had 2 years to get this done, with not even a comment. Bye bye

Hate to think that Fitbit has reached the top of their game...

With the way the smartwatch market has taken off, Fitbit will be left in
the dust.

Yes, well I'm certainly not against Fitbit per se. I have a Versa SE and I
love it when its working properly (staying connected/synced). It is a great
watch and tracker with lots of features. I just think Fitbit needs to go to
the next level of perfection and get some problematic matters fixed. I'm
not sure if the real problem is in the devices themselves or in the actual
app. I just hope for their sakes they can get the bugs ironed out much
better, or yes, they will be left behind...

I agree! I have an Ionic and am pleased with it. It's the little things
though like it counts steps when I'm asleep, there is no Spotify app, the
clock face issues, etc. These are all things that people have wanted fixed
and nothing has happened. The development team needs to step up their game!

Lol, about the steps being counted at night. (Sorry, I don't really mean
it). Its just so goofy when stuff like that happens. Like how?? I have
noticed my Versa is very accurate at counting flights of stairs I climb!
Does that count for anything?, Lol. I had an Android Wear watch. A Diesel
ON Full Guard watch. I sold that on eBay and used the $$ to just buy the
Versa. I really am glad I did. The Versa is so much more streamlined, and
not such a big clunker watch like the Diesel Wear watch. I like that I can
still change lots of different watch faces, all pretty reasonably priced,
etc. Most of the time I don't even know I have this thing on. There's so
many things to like about it. That's why I really hope Fitbit can get some
stuff ironed out! Extra bells and whistles like a "fav" category for saving
watch faces in for easier retrieval would be great as well of course. The
NFC Fitbit Pay works well. I should be a salesman, ha! Well it's off to
work for now. Have a great step counting day!

It would be helpful if there was a tab in the clock faces section for favorite faces and/or purchased faces.  I had a watch face that I liked and I wanted to try a few others, but I had a tough time locating the original one I liked.  Could you have a check box on the faces in the "All Clock" section to mark favorites.  You could limit it to 12 faces, but it would save so much time and aggravation.   Sometimes I like a formal looking face and sometimes not.

So done with all this.  Now unsubscribed and went with the Samsung Galaxy Active.  I've been with Fitbit since the very first "clothespin" tracker, but after over a year with so many limitations, and totally being ignored, I'm done...  really sad!!!

Having the extra bells and whistles of saved settings and purchases would nice, but at the very least could you just add a Favorites/Recently Used section like everyone is asking for?

I don’t care if I have to re-enter my purchase code and change my settings, if only I didn’t have to scroll for half an hour every time I want to switch my watchface. =(

This is so basic I can’t believe it hasn’t been done in two years.
