Favorite section for recently used Clock Faces

It would be helpful when the settings for a clock face will be remembered even after installing a different clock face. That way, you could occasionally swap the clock face and go back and forward without having to customize it every time. These settings shouldn't have to use too much storage and could be stored on the phone of the user, so that they'll get loaded in as defaults whenever a clock face is installed again after some time.

It has been a year+ since this posted, I have also wrote in to feedback about this, but answer is "no, we dont have this option yet". Hope Fitbit could improve as soon as possible. To add a "favorite" & "Purchased" section. We all change the clock face very often, without these 2 options its very troublesome and not smart at all.

Give us the ability to save our favorite clock faces. Everytime I want to change the clock face, I have to go through the long list to find the ones I like.

I agree 100%.  I changed up my face to see if I liked the a new one that I saw.  I didn't end up liking it and then it took me 45 min to find the old watch face that I loved this is a must have feature and it needs to come soon.  I felt like someone completely missed the mark by not putting this in off the get go. My dad has a samsung and his has this feature; I used to have an LG wear os watch and I could save faces on that.  Heck even my wife that has an apple watch says she can save face configurations.  Bring us out of of the dark ages please.... It really makes me not want to switch watch faces ever.

Thanks,

I've started making a list in my memos of the ones I like which is pretty
ridiculous that I have to that. I also have the name of the ones who make
them example Lignite. So I just search Lignite all of theirs pop up. Again,
a huge waste of time. 2019 Fitbit, try and keep up.

I'm still frustrated with it. I purchased a face to see what happens. So, for all those that wish to purchase a face and know how it works, I got sent to a Web page with a strange url that said:

"Note: if you uninstall the clockface/app you just purchased in order to test out another one, all of your data and settings are deleted by the fitbit app, this will cause the clockface/app to ask for payment again after you reinstall it.

When thay happens you can unlock it again for free by going to kzl.io/unlock.

We hope this problem will soon be fixed by fitbit so we can offer you a better user experience. Our apologies for this inconvenience. "

So I had to find the face in the app, then install it again, then visit that site for a code for proof that I've paid for it.

But you have no way of knowing the ones that you've paid for. I suggest writting the names of the faces in a note pad so you can search for them easily.

One developer I contacted was very frustrated by this and is giving up on supporting fitbit.

I keep reminding myself that this feature is STILL ONLY "under consideration" by fitbit. Shocking.

I just want some Ionic faces on the Versa - like Gauges, Arc, and Levels - that would be AWESOME!!

I also think this would be a great feature to have.  Another tab on the Clocks screen that is Favorites/Purchased would be awesome!  I have been hesitant to purchase new faces because I was afraid I would not be able to find them again.  It really is a pain to have to waste time looking for old favorites too.

Every other smartwatch app (Android Wear, Samsung, Apple, etc.) has a user watch face collection. Changing watch faces in fitbit is extremely cumbersome and way behind other smartwatch software. PLEASE update app to include this feature! Thank you!

Another vote for this.  Would at least prefer a recently used section or a favorites section in the app on your phone.  Would be awesome to be able to have 3 - 5 watch faces stored with settings on the device (Versa for me) and allow us to easily switch between them without having to go into the app on our phones.  I get tired of the same watch face all the time and like to switch it up from time to time, so stored with settings on our device would be a HUGE plus.

Fitbit is lagging in the software department. The GPS is not that great
either. I debating if I should switch to Garmin.

I'm thinking switching also. All the other watches seem way ahead of fitbit.

Don't forget, this is still only "under consideration". It'll still take time to develop if they even decide to go ahead with it.

just got the ionic, so disappointed i cannot save a few of my favorite clock faces and change through them quickly.

ideally would love to have 3-4 clock faces stored on the watch so they can be quickly swapped and a favourites repository linked to fitbit account (so stored on cloud incase the mobile is changed/app is reinstalled) or on the mobile app.

As a last resort, having 10-15 faces minimum saved in the app that can be updated to the watch would be acceptable as well.

Yes I have 2 or 3 clock faces that I switch between (one looks smart for when I need to dress smart) and one is my go to for daily use and workouts etc.   Would be great to have a favourite section where you can keep them (saves trying to find them again and again).

Just found out that if you purchase a clock face, you have to enter the code in again when you change to something else and then back again.  Wow, how can this not be saved on the device or maybe even in the app?  What a pain.  Makes me not want to purchase or even change faces, which defeats the purpose of the feature.  C'mon Fitbit, this is silly.

I stand by my statement that Fitbit software is lagging. Figuratively and
literally!

I like to change my watch face regularly. But I find it very difficult it use the app when you can't save or flag faces that I would like to use. Also some fonts appear on the watch very small, so once applied, I dont like it and  I have to start over. Being able to takectime to create a pick list then set them at my leisure would be great. It could be as simple as a catagory on the main page like staff picks, but be my favorites, specific to my log in. So far this is the only complaint I have.  Otherwise Iove my Versa!

This has been "under consideration" for over a year? Between this and the still-useless spO2 sensor, I'm a little disappointed. I just bought the Versa last month... I considered other brands, but didn't look too closely because brand loyalty or something (I've been using Fitbit for years). Now I'm wishing I'd looked into them a little more. C'mon, Fitbit. I keep trying to defend you to my friends purchasing new devices, but you're not making it easy.

Yes! Great suggestion -- and part of those settings would be that the prior clockface was purchased (for purchased clock faces).  So that info doesn't need to be entered again just to switch between various clock faces.

I like to swap between a handful of clocks/screens, having my favourites saved instead of searching for them (and trying to remember it's name/pic) all the time would be really great.

YES, This feature is very much needed. Thanks for the consideration.
