Find my phone sound options

I love that there is now a "find my phone" function, but would like to have the option to change the sound and/or volume on my phone when this is enacted. The only time I tried it out, it scared the bejeezus out of my cats and all the people in my house (4!) came running to see what was going on (they thought it was the smoke alarm. Too loud.
This is needed because:
I'd really like to use this function but won't because as it is, it's way too loud.
I'd use this: Weekly

Came here looking for a solution.  I was hopeful when I saw the question was asked over 5 years ago - but still no update!!  Ugh!!

a 5 year old topic and they still haven't implemented this super easy to add feature. Give us sound/lenght options already!

Why is the current "find my phone" feature a freaking hide-and-seek game?!? That's how that children's toy works. "I'm here" <4 second silence> "can you find me?" I don't wan't to walk around, wait for 4 seconds, then take another half step in probably the right direction. Let it ring continuously, **ahem**it!
