Fitbit needs to add text message notifications to the Ace. It doesn't make sense to have only call notifications. There are many kids with iPod touches and iPads that communicate with text messaging years before they get a phone. Also, there are 13+ year olds with adult accounts that have small wrists so they would buy an Ace and would certainly make use of this. Please add more notification options on the next firmware update. Thank you

Hi everyone, and thanks for sharing this product feedback. We’re very happy to let you know that this has been released on our newest Fitbit Ace LTE. Your child can receive notifications as well as call or send texts and voice messages for up to 20 people. You can find more details about this device here.
