Please add ING Bank from Romania. A lot of people are using ING in Romania so will be awesome if we can use the wallet feature in Romania since all stores are using wireless payments.

It will be great to have ing bank romania partnership with Fitbit! How can we help this to make it happen?

Great idea. I am an ING client too.

ING already has the best app for android phones, in the app there are virtual cards attached to a device and used to pay goods thru NFC with the phone. I think the base is already done by ING.

The function is not even enable for Romania. If i switch the country to uk for example or us the wallet is available.

Romania has an very high adoption of wireless payments, is had to find a store that dos not have it it, make's sense to turn on the option and partner with bank's. Think is not that hard as some banks already have payments thru NFC from there applications. I do not think there is interest from Fitbit, we still considered not a priority here 🙂

Wold be nice to go for a run or bike and have the option not to get the phone for payments.

@mpetcu i still think you need the phone to make payments using FitBit right? The cards are stored inside the phone not the watch.

@raducostea you can pay only with your watch, the card it is stored into the watch thru Fitbit app.

Let’s bring as many people as we can to post a comment and vote this post @Fitbit Pay Romanian Banks so we can change something and Fitbit hopefully make things happening.

Fitbit has the opportunity to be the only company to offer unique features witch not only will consolidate there place in the smartwatch / tracker race but can be the only option for fitness customers.

The flowing will make Fitbit the go-to product for 90% of the market:

- Fitbit pay

- Spotify suport

- SPO2 sensor utilisation

Another vote for opening Fitbit pay Romania here !

+1 for adding nfc payment through Banca Transilvania which already have this option available on smartphones.

In Romania we don't have a good solution to pay with ios phones, apple pay is not supported. So i think fitbit pay could be a perfect solution for us. I'll by a fitbit versa just for that today!

+1 for ING.

+1 Add ING Bank Romania for Fitbit Pay. I think this would be easier than other banks as ING already has NFC payments enabled for Android Phones. iOS user don't have any options for wireless payments in Romania so Fitbit could gain a lot from this.

I live in Romania and I too would love to use NFC payments on my Ionic. ING bank already offers NFC payments from my Android phone which is very convenient and I can use it almost anywhere. Putting this on my wrist would be so much more convenient!

+1 for ING Bank as well. Best option to choose from in terms of customer experience, if you're considering to partner with romanian banks.

I would buy a Charge 3 special edition if I could use it for payments. Currently own a Charge 2.
