Fitbit Water Bottle

I just really wanted to recommend Fitbit to make their own water bottle that tracks the amount of water a person is drinking and automatically syncs with the Fitbit app. The thermos smart lid is not a good product and the reviews online show it clearly. Hydration is a part of daily health and Fitbit would benefit all of its users in a real way by creating such a product.

Being able to track water consumption through my fitbit blaze would be great. The more I can use this tracker on my wrist rather than the smartphone in my pocket, the better.

I have one of the water bottles from https://hidratespark.com/.  It syncs nicely to my Fitbit account. I've used it for a couple of months and absolutely LOVE it  The only downside is if I do want to add water the bottle has it's own app for doing that.

I would love a FitBit waterbottle. (Could name it the Fitbit Quench, just an idea...)

After looking at the reviews for the HidrateSpark (the only bottle that works with Android), I saw plenty of negative reviews.

Would love a device that works directly with the Fitbit app like my Charge 2 and my coming Aria 2.

Thanks!

@Admiralfeb  I would like to see one directly from Fitbit as well.  However, until they come out with it I have found that the HidrateSpark does work very well with Fitbit despite the negative reviews.

This Fitbit bottle is a must; especially when we have built-in water goals within the app. Is this bottle project in progress? Many thanks.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing this suggestion. In terms of an update, there aren't currently any plans to release this feature. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us and we will let you know if anything changes.

Since there is no plan for a Fitbit water bottle:

1. Apart from Thermos Smart Lid, what other brands are compatible with the Fitbit app?

2. Is the Fitbit app able to log data from two different bottles from different brands? Thermos and Ozmo, for instance.

Many thanks,

Thermos makes a smart lid.

Currently the android is in beta

I really agree with this as I'm in the market for a hydration tracker that talks directly to my Fitbit dashboard via Bluetooth or another method. Come on Fitbit, sort it out!!

Would LOVE to be able to track my water consumption directly from my fitbit charge 2. Added label.

This suggestion is about having a water bottle that syncs with your Fitbit account. Currently their are three companies that have water bottles that do this.

If your interested in logging water from the blaze @Kernaki and @KetoStef I would add your voted to track water from the wrist

Hello,
Thank you for responding to my post. However, my post must have been added to the wrong thread. I meant I would like an option on the watch to record how many glasses of water drunk in the day as is done on the phone app.
Thank youRachel

And can we use two bottles from different brands at the same time? Bottle at work; bottle at home. Do they sync correctly with the Fitbit app?

Many thanks,

@jlorenzo I don't see why not, when the water consumed is sent to Fitbit. It does this as if it was manually added. They bottle company might allow. Bottles connected to a single account.

Fitbit needs to make their own bluetooth connected water bottle, just like how they got the bluetooth connected weighing scale. End of discussion. We need something that connects directly to the app and updates it right away. If that's viable, then look into buying the company that made the Hidrate Spark. Please!! So many people would buy right away!!!

I'm currently using the Fitbit Ionic and I love the idea that I don't have to have my phone on me at all times. This update would make this that much easier to leave my phone and still focus on my health. Make it happen Fitbit!!!!

Currently there are three companies that make water bottles that will auto log water on Fitbit.

Thank you!

What water bottles are they?

I've seen some third party sellers come out with these smart water bottles over the past couple of years. I love the idea of a water bottle that automatically tracks your water intake into the app. I'm currently a user of the Fitbit flex 2, the Aria scale and have recently purchased the Versa. I love tracking every bit of my workout/health and am looking to buy one of these smart water bottles. However the reviews are very mixed on the products that are out there currently. I'd love to see Fitbit try to perfect the technology as it seems to be on par with everything that Fitbit tries to do.

Yo I was thinking about this when I saw that Hidrate Spark!
I wanted to get one because I really struggle to remember to log the water intake on my Fit-bit app when I'm just sipping on water throughout my work day.
Then I saw that even if I bought the Spark I would have to manually enter it into my app, which isn't so bad because I would have a more accurate measurement.  But still, It would be cool to cut out the middle man.

TOMahawk,

Mine updates in the fitbit app just fine. You just need to sync to the Hidrate Spark app first, then it will show up in the fitbit app. No middleman

I've tried the Ozmo and it's not great, they still need to work some kinks out and it's now stopped logging altogether. I'd prefer Fitbit did one, but if the Hydrate Spark actually works, this could be a solution. I'll see if they have a UK outlet Smiley Wink
