Friends leaderboard based on active minutes

Steps aren't everything (I'm a cyclist...).

If the idea of fitbit is to increase people's activity, could the friend's leaderboard be based on active minutes rather than steps?

Hey @SunsetRunner! Nice suggestion, thanks for sharing. We look forward to hearing what other community members think about having this option on the Dashboard.

I agree! I never use leaderboard, because my steps aren't a reflection of my activity level. I do a lot of HIIT and weight training, and get 30-45 mins of activity 5-6 days a week. I'm usually at the bottom of the leaderboard because it only reflects steps, so it isn't a fun or useful feature for me. I would love to see active minutes on the leaderboard!

Ideally customers should have the collective option to decide which activity is their agreed goal (steps, active minutes, etc.) with their friends, but I do agree active minutes covers most activities.

I would like to see my friend community leaderboard have an option to rank by active minutes.

Hi @TMccorkell, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see Friends leaderboard based on active minutes. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
