Get Premium free for 1 year in all new purchases

I feel like the first 3 months of Fitbit premium should be available to ALL new purchases of Fitbit. Very disappointed. I hesitantly purchased this 2nd FB because the old one had no warranty available (even for purchase)....I also felt “cheated” because this information on “no free premium trial” was never presented to me when shopping for it.

I don't get the logic behind discriminating, apparently based on purchase price. A few months ago my wife bought an Inspire 2. Just yesterday I went for your Charge 5 -- mainly because I wanted color and a slightly larger face. My device cost about $50 more. Yet my wife's device came with a 1 year free trial, while mine is only 6 months. Kindly explain. I don't understand or appreciate such marketing. Are you operating on the assumption that someone willing to initially pay more for a device will care less about a less generous incentive? I find that alienating. If I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion, please explain your marketing..
