Please Fitbit could you add ING Bank to Fitbit Pay. Many Australians have ING bank accounts. Many thanks.

Has there been an update on this? I bought the fitbit sense for the purpose of using the tap and go feature, however I'm with ING and it is not supported! Very disappointing

Fitbit has there been any progress to add ING Australia bank to Fitbit Pay please? This would be a well used feature.

Returned my sense and got a Apple Watch after being a loyal Fitbit customer for 5 years

After looking at the banks that support Fitbit throughout the world , none of them use Visa . I imagine that this is the issue with why they haven't added ING to their stable.

I endorse the request to add ING bank in Australia to Fitbit pay.

ING is Visa backed , Fitbit is linked to Mastercard. It will never happen.

ING bank is very popular amongst younger bankers, the sort of customers that also would choose to wear a Fitbit watch over something analogue. I don't understand why some of the best features on my Fitbit sense are either laggy to the point of being useless or turned off like in the instance of Google assistance or access to Fitbit pay through ING bank

So there have been consistently people requesting this from 2018 through to the end of 2020... Any chance of it actually happening? It would be so incredibly handy to have the ability to actually use one of the features I bought this watch for... It works through Google Wallet, and as you're owned by Google these days, surely it should be a relatively simple thing to implement?

@MarcelBK Can we please get an update on this feature request please? It's been over two years since any official word from FitBit.

I've been subscribed to this thread for so long and it's clear this is never going to happen.

My next purchase will be a Garmin, so long FitBit

I suggest that we will get Google Pay on our Fitbit devices, which does support ING, before we’ll get ING on Fitbit!

@seanmorrison from what I can gather, Garmin does not support ING either:

Please correct me if I'm wrong though. My girlfriend also banks with ING and is looking to purchase a new smart watch. She has a lower-end FitBit so was looking to move to the Versa, but of-course they don't support ING. As for alternatives, she doesn't like Apple or Samsung. Not really sure what to do.

I'd be doing it via Google Pay (Android) which Garmin uses I believe. I think the best bet would be finding a device which supports your phone's native payment method (Apple Pay or Google Pay). In theory it should work, but might need to do some more research to confirm before making a purchase this time around.

I can't edit posts it seems

EDIT: It looks like it doesn't, no idea what to do 😐

This would be really handy.  Or Google Pay.

Very disappointed ING is not supported. Would really love if it could he added!

I would 100% like to see this. A huge amount of Australians bank (at least one account) with ING. Frankly I’m surprised it’s not already on Fitbit. It was one of the reasons I got the charge 4. I really should have checked first.

Yep! This was one of the main reasons I got the versa 3 too. Hopefully it
will happen soon

@snowyhagen I doubt it is a Visa/Mastercard issue, as the current banks page lists several of both: https://www.fitbit.com/au/fitbit-pay/banks

I agree. ING is a very good bank to be with and it is a shame that it is not supported...yet.

I don't believe it will be supported ever. Anyway, I'm not going to buy
another Fitbit device after this one will die.

+1 for ING Direct support , just bought the sense and was extremely disappointed to find out I have no way of linking my card to it.
