Ideas for new challenges on the Fitbit app

If the old ones weren't being used enough, make new ones. Some ideas:
- You're owned by Google now. Anything in Google Maps can be an adventure, with a new one every week
- Board game challenge: So many steps gets a roll of the die. First one to the end wins
- Drawing challenge: Use GPS to make a drawing from a prompt. Voted on by friends or group.

Please please please bring back challenges and adventures. Me and my friends used them all the time!!! We miss using them as high motivation to get more steps in by trying to beat eachother!

I came here to say this!! I used to use challenges all the time - I bought a new Fitbit because I missed using them and Apple doesn’t have anything similar - only to find out they have been removed?! Everyone loved them. Everyone used them. Yet Google claims that they were an unused feature. Bring back Challenges guys!

Please consider bringing challenges back. I bought a new Fitbit because I loved the feature. Only to find out it has been removed in 2023?! Why would you remove something that has been fun and used by nearly everyone. I am seriously disappointed.

We had weekly challenges at work and had other friends joining in. My Mom would join them, too! The Bingo challenges were great and would have us all trying to out strategize each other. People would play chicken with each other and not sync until days in, to give other people the false hope/lead. They were great!

you don’t even need to change them; just give us back the old challenges, please!

It's a shame that integrated app like Fitbit no longer offers this feature, while other apps like Samsung Health excel at it.
Would be great to have a platform to compete in challenges with friends and the wider community. Imagine the possibilities of global challenges and the increased motivation that comes from friendly competition.

The removal of challenges has streamlined the app, but the challenges were a huge motivator. Perhaps they can be something that you can “opt into” when going on the app? Like choosing the battery saver mode on a computer for maximum battery life or choosing maximum function but shorter battery

I miss the challenges as well. I used it to make my step goal more exciting when I got lazy. I was still able to connect with friends I lived far away from with messages and competition as well. My parents competed with each other and they enjoyed it so much. I think it pushed them to be more active too.

@Ajanelleh Same it was always fun even watching the ending when it showed from start to finish. Even if I didn't get to the end. I was hitting close to 25,000 steps a day but now... I lucky if I get 6,000. I wish they'd bring them back.

I will not be getting another Fitbit unless they bring back challenges. Why would they delete the challenges ?

I really like the ideas. @LizzyFitbit is there already an update on challenges returning?
