Include hourly activity status on Charge 4 clock face

I have been using Fitbit Charge models for the past few years. Recently I got Charge 4 and totally disappointed seeing that the status of the hourly activity status was missing from the clock screen. I am very obsessed with the hourly activity staus and this is the only reason for me to sticking to the expensive Fitbit.

Hi @Dominic01. Thank you for sharing your Feature Suggestion with the Fitbit Community. Let us explain that the Hourly Activity can be seen on the Today app by swiping up from the Charge 4 clock face. However, if you're referring to a different place, please reply with more detail or specifics how this idea would work or what problem this is trying to solve. We look forward to your response.

Really appreciate your response. I am aware we need to swipe to see. It would be nice if we have something similar to Change 2 where we can keep this status permanently in the clock face. i.e. see it without swiping. It was nicely configurable from the app. Kindly refer Fitbit Charge 2 HR setup.

Retro Double Stat: time, date, steps, and heart rate at a glance on the same screen

Charge 2 Retro: steps, current heart rate, total calories burned, distance, floors climbed, and active zone minutes

In both cases, it would be better if we have hourly stat.

PS: really not sure why the day of the week is missing here as well.

I Agree with this suggestion, there are several Charge 4 designs, please create one that displays the Time, date, steps for the day and steps hour activity all on one screen please, very much like the retro double stat design and what was possible on Charge 2; it would be used hourly by myself and lots of other long term fitbit users

I clicked to vote up, as I just upgraded my Charge 2 to a Charge 4, and I am blown away by the fact that I can't get my steps per hour on the clock face. And, now it takes 2 swipes up to get to the information, which is awful, frankly. One of the absolute best things about FitBit for me is that motivation to get up every hour during my work week and get my 250 steps. It has honestly changed my life, and it's one of the main reasons I look at my FitBit throughout the day. To be clear, when I review the clock faces, I'm looking for 1. The time, 2. The date, 3. Hourly activity goal information, 4. Daily step count. I'm going to live with my new Charge 4 for now and see how annoying this is next week, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that I just go back to my Charge 2, since it's still working even if it is a little beat. What a disappointment after waiting so long to upgrade!

lizri i feel your pain, Fitbit and the lack of interest in their customers, it never changes

@Snowman2k I don't know, that seems a bit harsh. There at a lot of things I love about my new Charge 4, including that I can turn off tracking the steps per hour for Saturday & Sunday, which is an improvement I love. I actually wonder if taking hourly activity off the clock face is related to the fact that you probably aren't tracking it all the time. And I'm very grateful there's still an altimeter!

I agree! Like other, I recently upgraded from the Charge 2 to the Charge 4. I really miss the Hourly Activity view. I liked being able to see how many steps I had left to make it to 250. Please add this back!!!

Ugh! I'm glad I found this thread. I thought I was losing my mind. I just upgraded from the Charge 2 to the Charge 4 and am really bummed that the hourly activity view is no longer available. This is the most important metric for me and its a shame that it can't be placed front-and-center.

To put the most valuable part of FitBit—display of hourly step goals—two screen swipes away seems an odd and capricious choice. It’s the number one feature I care about and makes me question my decision to upgrade from Charge 2 to Charge 4.

Really really need this feature!!! This is extremely disappointing that this feature does not exist and was removed.

Anyone figured out a solution for this?

I'd really support.  Have also just gone from Charge 2 to Charge 4. Steps in-hour probably my most used feature so really frustrated I can't get it on initial screen. Having to swipe is very different to just being able to glance down. Have just spent over an hour trying to find a way to do it,  so at least helpful to find this and know I'm not alone.

I am the OP of this feature request and it is almost going to be two years. I don't think FB would add this feature in Charge 4 thereafter. They have already released Charge 5 where (I think) they dont have this feature. In addition they have removed floor counting in C5. They don't care about these feature requests anymore.

Really? I wonder what their data source is. It’s literally the only reason I wear a Fitbit.
