We (my Fitbit friends) would like to increase the challenge numbers to include more than 10 people. Our group includes way more than 10 who are active and want play
Please allow all challenges to have more than 10 people. 20 was great and motivating plus competitive, but then it went back to 10 per challenge demotivation 😣 and boring. This will also help the limit of just 10 challenges per person...thanks.
We are a facebook group of people who have COPD & a fitbit, we initially met on here & decided to open a facebook group so we could share photos. As exercise is extremely important when you have copd we set lots of challenges to encourage each other. However we have about 30 active members which means we have to set 3 challenges each time! We would all love to be in one challenge, so please consider increasing the number of people that can be in a challengehttps://www.facebook.com/groups/1587237294900406/?ref=bookmarks
We are a group of 25 to 30 people with COPD. Exercise is a must for us to stay healthy. We do challenges every week and weekend, it would be so much easier if we could please have challenges that allowed more than 10 people, so we can encourage each other and cheer our friends. Please consider adding this option. We love our fitbits
I LOVED when we could add 20 people. Didn't see why it was temporary. Now I have to have multiple challenges for friends/family. Going to add on that we need the ability to remove people too. Everyone shouldn't have to all quit and start another b/c someone invites an annoying person.
Yes please would be really great to have more than 10 in a challenge, as part of a larger group, and we all get split up because of the number of only 10 being allowed in each challenge. Please review this, would be of a huge benefit for many
Hi team! Are you able to set up a way that I can be in more than 10 challenges at once? It would be ideal to be able to rename the groups as well like Whatsapp groups.
A lot of us have built a core daily group of friends we walk with in challenges everyday on Fitbit and there are more then 10 people, so we cannot all be in our daily goal day challenges etc together as the limit is 10 people, so instead re create multiple challenges so everyone can participate, but if we all chat/post messages in one and not the others, people not included miss out on the interaction. Is there anyway the numbers of allowed to play per challenge could be raised to 15 or even 20? Even 12 would be great.
It would be really cool if there were more types of challenges too. What about a 2-Day Challenge that can be done anytime during the week/not just the weekend-there could be a hit your goal for both days, and also a showdown competitive 2 day one. Or a 3-Day Challenge, as the Week long is a bit too much, and then same thing- hit your goal mark for 3 days, and then also a different 3 day one as a showdown competitive one.
Also as everyone said more adventures, and on the Races you can do with friends, we want to win a badge or trophy or something. No fun just completing it and no one knows as there is no record of it that you even did it.
The Moderator states on 6/8/17 that the Challenges Team is reviewing this request, and that if anyone saw any change, it was released prematurely. This was almost four months ago, and still no change. And since some people may have seen a change "accidentally," that tells me the number can be increased. The Adventure Races allow up to 30 people...why not make the Challenges a max of 30 (or unlimited) as well? Are you listening to us, Fitbit? We need more room to include more participants. With wellness initiatives growing in companies, there are more than ten people working at these bigger companies. Stop saying it's under review and be straight with us. Make a change or tell us you won't. Please.
This has always been an issue for me as my group of friends (way more than 10) would want to participate in a challenge but cant because of the limitation of not more than 10 participants.
I don't think it should be an issue to increase to as many participants as possible or defined/controlled by who ever started the challenge.
10 participants is too small for my group and limits us to challenge.
Agreed! Daily group of close friends on Fitbit I do challenges with is over 10 people and we would all love to be in a challenge together instead of separate as we also now and then chat/post within the challenge to talk with each other and since we are all not in the same challenge some miss out on the interactions. Being in more then 10 challenges a day would be amazing too! Its very limiting, especially when people don't synch and we have to wait half a day for the old challenges to finish off or manually quit to be able to move onto new ones.
It seems you aren't listening to us as the last moderator's comment was 06/08/17.It's not the adventure races we need to have multi participants with the videos etc! That doesn't help us, it's the normal challenges ! We absolutely need this ! We are a group with about 28 active members,so we have to set 3 challenges up. We do appreciate there may be problems with this however we can't understand how you do the adventure challenges with multi contestants however not the normal challenges! Thank you
Kaycat couldn't said it any better. We are people that purchases a device that uses motivation to help people get steps but it stops at 10 people? Only Marathons allow more people?
Pull your finger out Fitbit. Let's have the increase now. Btw one of my friends sent me this.
Hi Colin Fitbit is a bit of a joke. Brenda has sat knitting for most of the day and Fitbit has recorded over 24,000 steps on her device. I'm taking up knitting lol John
As someone that manages a group of about 60 people, this is extremely frustrating. Based on the limited previous rollout, I'm almost positive that the reason that this hasn't been pushed is because, in groups of over 10 people,
(1) the "share" image cuts off after 10 people. This is the easiest thing to fix, just scale the image with the number of participants.
(2) you can't "scroll" through the list once the challenge is complete. Wouldn't it be more practical to have the chat log and results side-by-side (on separate "pages" that you could swipe between)
Just have a question. Why the challenges let you add up to 30 invites and the workweek hustle and weekend warrior only let maximum 10 invites. is that a way we can invite up to 30 invites in the workweek hustle
I thought my idea was new. it is frustrated to be restricted to only 10 invites.
Please increase BOTH the number of participants allowed per challenge as well as the total number of challenges we can participate in.
Most of us have different groups of people we would like to do a challenge with (family, friends, church, coworkers, online groups) and some of us are having to split larger groups in challenges (such as online fitness support groups).
