We (my Fitbit friends) would like to increase the challenge numbers to include more than 10 people. Our group includes way more than 10 who are active and want play
Last week Fitbit increased the total number of Challengers in a Challenge to 20 in the Android App... No fanfare.. It has just happened.
Also if you weren't aware you can rematch past the limit of 10 total Challenges. BUT... the downside is you have to wait for Challenges to finish under the 10 limit to accept more...
Here is some great news! Each Challenge can now have up to 20 participants. This applies to all app versions including iOS, Android, and Windows 10. For an Adventure's race, there can be up to 30 participants.
Allow users to be in more than 10 challenges. 20-30 would be sufficient. I decline 5-10 challenges a day because I'm at my limit of 10. This sucks and totally goes against the purpose of Fitbit usage. I know I'm not the only one this happens to.
Typically people in general have different networks of friends and family and different circles of people that they run with. Thus the need for multiple changes. Plus Fitbit it self has multiples types of challenges so I'm really unclear why you don't see the need 🤔 -- Sent from Gmail Mobile
Hey everyone! Our Challenges team is currently reviewing this idea and if any of you saw this already implemented inside the app, it had been released prematurely. Please stay tuned for any updates! Our apologies if this caused any confusion.
Please allow 20 people per challenge especially in the daily show down. Fitbit allowed 20 and changed it back to 10. Please put it back to 20 as I have many Fitbit buddies that want to join the challenge.
Fitbit increased the challenges last week to 20. Last night I went to send a daily showdown challenge to my group of 15 and it was back to 10 but they increased the adventures to 30. I sent an email and all they basically said was yes it reverted back to 10 but no reason was given. They included a link to this forum requesting participant increases. I am very disappointed!
I feel your pain. I send out 2 challenges for the workweek hustle, daily showdown and goal days just so everyone in my group can participate even if not altogether. They did increase it for 1 week snd we were feeling excited. Last night it went back to 10, but the adventures increased to 30. I rather have the increase to the challenges.
There is a response from Fitbit, saying they are considering increasing the numbers for the challenges, it was released prematurely...so waiting to see the final decision. Hoping it happens!j
You do realize @MzMizzy that at the time of your posting you are able to enter 10 challenges with up to 20 people per challenge. My calculations say that this means you can be competing with up to 190 people.
@Rich_Laue Yes Rich I do realize that however that feature is fairly new and still doesn't solve my issue of declining invitations because I'm limited to 10 challenges . Unfortunately because I continue to network and add friends , family and coworkers I have a rather large friends list and those people doesn't necessary run in the same groups or want to be in the same groups in regards to challenges . Also some challenges start and end differently it's always and issue in regards to me being in challenges
