Increase challenge participants to greater than 10

We (my Fitbit friends) would like to increase the challenge numbers to include more than 10 people. Our group includes way more than 10 who are active and want play

Another annoying thing about the challengers limit is the app still notifies me about the challenge, even though it is full.  I am not allowed to join the challenge, but the apps warns me that time is running out to join.

My department is doing a step challenge for January, it would be nice to be able to keep the challenge going all month instead of doing workweek hustle and then weekend warrior etc.. also, we'd like to be able to add more than 10 people as we had less than 10 at the beginning but lots of people wanted to get involved and bought a fitbit and now we all can't be in the same challenge. Please help!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE increase the limit for the number of participants allowed to join challenges!!!  Very frustrating issue as half our group is getting locked out and can't participate.

Please increase the number of participants allowed in a challenge. My family members with Fitbit has increased to more than 10 and now all can not participate in a challenge.

please increase the limit on maximum number of people can join to a challenge. i do see this request in place for more than a year and nothing done yet. its a shame for Fitbit.

The 10 people per challenge should be removed.  Especially since the popularity of the fitbit has grown so much.  Are you even planning on changing this?  I see alot of comments requesting the change but I do not see results.  Thank you for your time.

The person count should be higher then 10 to participate in the Workweek Hustle. Our group is growing, and people who want to participate shouldn't be left out.

You should include a 'charity' or corporate level that allows a small fee to be paid to have up to 250 participants in a challenge.

I'd sign up for it and have plenty who want to join in a huge fundraising challenge

I have asked support to help me out with this. I have been on my 5th week on fitbit challenges with friends but it sucks that we can only have a group of 10. Is there a way to get this to be extended to a minimun of 40-50 users? We have 3-4 groups going on at the same time so that nobody gets left out, but it would be nice to have everyone be included. Let us know if this is possible?

Please make it be more than 40+ people at a time. My friends and I have 4 groups going on at a time during the week and it's not fair when some people are left out or we can only have 5 groups at once.

I have a group of friends that we have been doing weekly challenges now for 5 weeks. Next week we are starting another one and we are getting more and more people to join every week. We have 4-5 challenge groups going on at the same time and it's unfair that the limit is only 10 people. Please make the limit be 40+ people per challenge or an unlimited amount. It sucks that there are people being left out since we can only have 5 groups going at the same time.

This is a great idea! I'm in this group and the motivation we have spread through our fitbit challenge posts have many other peopple in out fitness group buying fitbits just to join the challenges and try to beat our insanley high workweek steps 150k+! However we are finding it difficult to include everyone in our challenges since there are so many of us! an unlimited amount of challengers would be a great benefit!

This game s a very hot topic and our group has been using this feature and now we need to add more. This has helped motivate many of us and 10 is not near enough. Please make this happen as it would be a huge selling point for more out there.

Why is the maximum 10 people per challenge? Can it be raised to 20 or something? The more people the more fun.

It would be really nice if we could add more than 10 people to the challenge. Working with more than 10 people that own fitbits that want to join it is frustrating that we don't all get to participate each week.

I think it would be totally awesome if more than 10 people could compete in a challenge. I have well over 10 friends and and I think it would  spark some heavier competition as well!

I honestly don't think Fitbit is concerned about the consumer's desires. I say this because they have done nothing about this and does not seem to be doing anything about it.

It think it would be highly beneficial to increase the number to wayyyy greater than 10! Why? Well for example I'm part of the DietBet program. Have met way more than 10 Fitbit owners through that but we can't all do a challenge because only 10 are allowed. Defeats the purpose of motivating 20+ people when only 10 are allowed.

I would like to see an increase in numbers to the allowed participant to the Fitbit challenges. You only allowed upto 10 in a group, this isn't enough. This number should be raised to allow the large groups to actively step together.

Why?

I cannot see that it’s an additional overhead to any server; I run 3 groups with ten people in each, it doesn’t matter if I was to run 3x10 or 1x30. I also have to report back to an external site, due to the internal activity groups also not being adequate, with regards to moderation and how to invite and manage members.

We have bought the tech. But within activity groups we cannot manage them fully, nor can we choose step together. This is where Fitbit needs to improve, by giving more options and control the watches don’t become fads and it would self advertise by word of mouthple.

Great idea to be honest, I have [posted similar, I firmly believe we have bought the tech. But within activity groups we cannot manage them fully, nor can we choose step together. This is where Fitbit needs to improve, by giving us more options and control. The watches then don’t become fads and it would self-advertise by word of mouth as the services would match the watch.

@walkingleah I agree.  I don't think this is on the priority list at Fitbit.  I don't understand why.  It would be nice to get some type of response or a statement as to why they refuse to make this change.

Agreed- every weekend I'm in at least three challenges with the same group of people in order to capture numbers.

Also re Fitbit challenges, it would be good to customise the amount of days a challenge lasts for rather than set 1, weekend or weekday.

Thank you

Agreed. The more participants involved = the harder you work.

In trying to start an initiative that would both increase people's activity levels and bolster a sense of community, I introduced Workweek Hustle to my office of roughly 30 people.  It's worked well, but that means that the 10 person max is frustrating, because that means some people are now left off.  The alternative, to set up a group for longer term challenges, comes with  the issues of many of our staff eschewing use of desktops for access to Fitbit and having to view the groups by logging into the mobile site when they already have an app taking up valuable space on their phones both make that less than optimal. being able to have more challengers in the challenges would be fantastic.

I have been following this suggestion for quite sometime and have not seen any input from Fitbit, or a moderator in a long time. I don't think they are paying attention or even care what the consumers think anymore. Honestly speaking, allowing the competitions to have more than just 10 participants should not be that difficult to change. They already have the program, all they need to do is extend the parameters, right?

This has become ridiculous. We are all basically saying the same thing and have been for over a year. All I'm asking is for someone to tell me if this is not going to happen so that I can begin researching another tracker that would fit me and my groups needs better.
