"Personal range" may be totally misleading if you bought the device when you had a problem you were trying to fix. If my HRV is 17 but should be 55, that it continues to be around 17 does not make it ok.
The device can track if there are sharp deviations from your average, but the information you want is if the metric is normal for your age/gender group. Since my memory is bad, I have to keep checking what the "normal" HRV is for my age group or where my RHR should be.
