I’m currently using Nike Run Club app (Nike+) which has a heart rate option but it doesn’t look like I can sync it with my Fitbit. The Nike app is better for my 5k training and I wondered are there any plans to partner with them? Otherwise I might have to switch back to my polar which does sync.
Well I have been using both my Ionic and Versa for around the past four weeks swapping from to the other as needed, often this has been once a day,
I have taken some notes on the experiment and I have listed below in detail, comment please Fitbit!
Change Over Versa/Ionic/Versa fun, difficulties and faults:
1 Slow, it averages from 5 to 1 minutes to change over.
2 Not setting up WiFi can speed up changeover.
3 After Changeover all my selected “Exercise Shortcuts” are reset to default, this occurs on BOTH watches, I delete Run, Interval Workout and Bike then add Walk, after “add to watch” I find my selected shortcuts are added but Bike, Interval Workout are also back! I then re order the shortcuts and delete the ones that have been re added! I then resin re-sink. Yes, this all takes time.
4 I then check my Apps: My Agenda – I find the Product Status reports that the App is now “Unlicensed product. Trial period in progress” and it is not connected to my Microsoft account! Well you recon this is not a PAIN it’s now a ½ hour and I am still fighting, I have Uninstalled the app, rebooted the watch (My Ionic on this occasion) re-installed the app and got the code to re-activate the App and I am now fighting to re-connect to my Microsoft account Lol. I just rebooted the watch again! OK it is now working? Ok I will have a look at another app.
5 Weather – I check the settings, SUPPRISE my previous cities I like to look at have been deleted! I re-add them and re-sinc! OK next app. Bar Codes – Well again a surprise! ALL THREE of my Bar Codes have gone! I re enter (I keep them in a password vault so its “Quick and Easy to do”!! About 10 minutes. Now the next App.
6 Photo Album Watch App – WHAT? A mistake all my favorite photos a still there!
7 Summary: You will spend between 10 – 90 minutes to swap from Ionic to Versa of Versa to Ionic.
Sync with NTC+ and Nike+run is extremely needed! I am confused Fitbit still doesn't provide the feature. I use Nike apps for my trainings on a daily basis for years, and wish my Versa would track&sync it.
was using Nike run club and love it , then I brought an versa and love that to ,but know what I would love even more if the two of them got together what a great compliment to each other they would make , please sync them 😒
With over 530 votes. It looks like they are asking for similar items. Can we combine? It shows a much larger request for this feature. I love using the Nike apps but they don't sync with Fitbit which makes tracking my activity manual and frustrating.
I just bought my Charge 2 impulsively a week ago and thinking of selling it or giving it away because I just found out it doesn’t sync with Nike+ Training and NRC. Should’ve researched a bit before purchasing.
FitBit - you need to commit to the NRC app and a timeline or my Blaze will go in the trash. It's unacceptable to not be able to connect to premier running apps. I was shocked to learn they are not compatible. It's really poor level of customer service to have this request in front of you for a couple years and you don't commit one way or the other. Yes with timeline or no?
At this moment it is not possible to sync with neither of those apps.
Maybe you could vote for these suggestion to integrate iOS Health and Nike Run Club. You could comment and vote on those suggestions to show your support. Be sure to read the FAQ if you have any questions on the way that board works.
Quick tip how to synchronize NTC and probabely also NRC (I'm not using it).
It can be done via Google Fit app for Android (no iOS at the moment).
GF seamlessly reads all the data from Nike Training Club application on my phone. And Fitbit app synchronizes with GF nicely and also with MyFitnessPal app.
Just started using NRC and love it! Pissed I can’t sync with my Fitbit. I’m due for an upgrade and it looks like Garmin or Apple Watch it will be. It sucks because I’ve loved Fitbit but y’all not hearing us...
Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I got this amazing Fitbit versa for my birthday this week, to help me keep track of all things FITNESS, but y’all can’t or won’t come up with a way to sync my workouts with the Nike running app? It’s one of the most well known running apps. This is a huge portion of my fitness!!!! Please please please find a way! For the love, drop everything and make this fitness tool more fitness-y!!!

Hi @AliDenault, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is not currently planned.
