Let us delete in-app notifications/messages

This is clogging up my iphone. I have a year or more worth of useless Fitbit notification messages I'd like to shed. I saw a 'solved' notice in here from a year ago stating it was resolved by stating there is no solution. This is simply ignoring the myriads of request/votes of customer requests/concerns to fix it. Fitbit should have had a REAL solution by now and apparently do not. In reality this problem has not been resolved but simply is being ignored by the company/moderator. The solution 'solved' to put a vote in ideas does not address the real concern or issue at hand. What's the point of a community forum if Fitbit does not listen to its customers? The thread should have flagged Fitbit/moderator to produce a real fix, we're still waiting.

That is what I have been saying. At least acknowledge our complaint.

I addressed this issue to Fitbit and this was their response, so there may be hope, but don't hold your breath...

"We appreciate that you shared your feedback with us. We've passed it along to our engineering team, we're glad to inform you that the messages will be deleted eventually. In the meantime we appreciate your patience with this matter."

Most likely.

It is absurd that these notifications can't be deleted - very poor design flaw in what overall is a pretty good app. This is actually a software design bug - the idea that we have to beg for it to be fixed is also absurd.

Yes, please provide an option for deleting notifications in the Fitbit app.  Thank you for your time and attention!

There should be a way to turn off / remove notifications in the app so users like me don't have to see them.

I've no interest in them; I don't want to have to delete them, I'd rather they not exist to begin with! It can be an option in settings so those who want them can still have them.

How many requests has fitbit received and ignored?

Assuming you have an Android (as that's all I know about) you can disable notifications for the Fitbit app in the Application Manager on your phone.

Please allow me to remove the ever growing notifications list. My phone has very little storage to spare. I would like to decide what is on my device.

How did you stop them from coming?  I have not been able to do that despite having everything except low battery turned off.

Actually it's more than 100 notifications.  I have ALL my repetitive notifications since 2/27/17!

i checked the forum and many people complained about this and yet NOTHING has been done! Why?

Also all daily tracking data is saved on the app since I downloaded I it 4/16 and I can not delete that either.

How about being able to delete any data on the app (either phone, pad or pc). As of today all my data(sleep, heart rate, steps etc) are saved since I downloaded the app 4/16. This is unnecessary.

This is in addition to removing the notifications that have been saved since 2/28/17.

I have tried the forum and none of the suggestions has solved the problem!!

It has been a while, but I think I just turned off the calendar notifications under the account information. Stills shows text and call notification, but stopped the daily messages about needing more steps or having met the goals, etc.

Also agree. Dislike the silly notifications.

It seems all fitbit users have hundreds of useless notifications from February 2017 to the present clogging our iPhones. It runs the gamut of all fitbit trackers. Users have complained on many threads about this issue. Fitbit does not care. Therefore, when the time arrives to replace our trackers, most of us will show fitbit the same consideration they have shown us. None. Fitbit Flex? One and done.

Looks like we are all stuck with them. Thanks to the ineptness of Fitbit IT.

Allow users to delete messages at any time rather than waiting 30 days for auto delete.

I would also like to be able to delete old notifications, and feel this would be an easy thing to accomplish.
