Yes I agree it's frustrating to have an icon right there but not be able to add data on the go. There's no way I will use the water tracker feature if I have to go online or to the app to do it.
Hi @rohmbd , thanks for taking the time to share your feedback regarding water log with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. At the moment it is not planned to implement it. Nonetheless you can still add your vote.
Hello @KathAndri! Thanks for sharing this suggestion, I can see why you would want to log the water intake directly on the Charge 3. I moved your request to this similar post so you can add your vote to it. Please keep sharing your ideas with us! :womanhappy
It would be great to have the water icon (on the charge 3 device) an active button, set up for a basic 250 ml glass and by pressing it it is added to the count.
Really makes it way too complicated that we can do it only through the app on the phone and it is actually silly to have the icon but without function.
I honestly didn't think when purchasing the newer fitbit, that it will come without this feature - Feeling a bit let down 😞
I know that this subject already exists but it has been closed - wonder why - and not able to comment there anymore which would be also great to have it unlocked...
Hi @Puszedli it was locked because it's not currently planned. More than likely, this thread will be merged into it. You should vote for it, if it's something you want. Having all the votes in one place works best for getting the attention of the moderators.

Part of why I got a FitBit was to make it even more convenient to track and encourage my movement, etc, trying to get healthier. It is frustrating to have so many things have to be done on the phone app rather than the device itself. Would be GREAT to be able to add 8oz at a time on my Charge 3 itsel rather than having to pull out the phone.
Hi @Lilweeds, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us, this feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is not currently planned.
Water consumption tracking is listed when comparing Versa 2 and Charge 3 and both say you can do it. Apparently not with Charge 3. This needs to be done or it should not be advertised as such. I see a lot of suggestions but nothing being done about it
Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for taking the time to share why you would like to see this option on Charge 3. You can log water from the Fitbit app and see stats on Fitbit Today. The ability to log water intake from the device (charge 3) instead of having to open up the app. To make it easier it could have thr most common amounts already preset like 8oz, 12oz, 22oz, 24oz, etc. And the user can simply "click" the the amount they drank at a particular time.

It would be very useful to be able to quickly add water/liquid intake on my Charge 3 by simply flicking to the water consumption "page" tapping on it to open a new screen to display the quick add icons of 250ml 500ml & 750ml. It would be nice if it recorded the time that you add it so one can work on distributing ones intake

Having the ability to monitor and track all info through the watch would be nice. Having to use my phone during work hours in order to track say something as simple as water seems silly when it feels like easy programming.
Hi @Crisocolla, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback logging water from the Fitbit Charge 3. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here as it is not currently planned.
I’ve recently bought myself a Fitbit charge 3, so I’m new in the «Fitbit»-community. I’m very happy and satisfied with my Fitbit, and it tracks mostly everything I want. But yet I still have some feedbacks with the aim to improve the product even more, and I hope you’ll find this useful. First of all a full colored AMOLED-screen would make the screen very much more alive and vivid, also it would be very nice to track your caffeine and water- intake directly from the watch. Another improvement that I noticed was that it would have been nice to control the music directly from the watch on the Charge models, if there also could be more languages avalible it would be really great! . I’ve seen for sample the Samsung Galaxy Fit band has all of the features I’ve mentioned above where as the product is in the same price-range as the Fitbit Inspire.
There are many suggestions about adding different languages. You can find them and add your vote to the language you would like to have added.
Please try to make sure you only post one idea per suggestion, so we can keep the board organized, easily searchable and see which idea other members are voting for.

I currently own the Charge 3. So I do not know if this option would already exist with another style fitbit.
I think it would be a great feature to add into the next update for a water intake option.
For example, when you swipe left for the home screen you are taken to different tabs (i.e. exercise, relax etc.)
If you can add a water option, where one its tapped it records your water intake. Or it goes to the list of 8oz, 16oz, 24oz. The devices save the input then syncs while the users phone.
This way, users like me who don't always have their phone near them can still keep track of how much water they drink a day.
