Longer Challenges eg week, month, 2 hours

There should be a larger variety of challenges that could be long like a month long or short like a couple of hours and there should be rewards for challenges you participate in with friends/family like gift cards for a variety of stores

I think a 7 day challenge so be introduced as a few of my fitbit friends struggle through out the week as they have a desk job and a 7 day challenge would then give them an extra few days to get some added steps. Personally I think this would be a very successful challenge

A marathon challenge is a must for consistancy. Would love to see this option.

Please do make a 7 day challenge. I have really enjoyed the challenges and a 7 day would be a great one to do with my family

why is this not an option for the challenges?

it seems simple enough to implement.

I agree. I'm the original poster and no one from Fitbit has ever replied. You think this would be some and easy, plus it just makes so much sense.

Please add a 7 day challenge. Currently there is a 5 day and a weekend challenge but no 7 consecutive day challenge.

I've not long since suggested this under a different thread. I think it's a fantastic idea as we have various other ones

A five days competition is nice, but a whole month is better!

Please allow us to have challenges beyond steps. For people who are active beyond walking and running the challenges limits to steps only is well ......limiting at best. I would love to be able challenge others to active minutes. As Fitbit is "all about" active lifestyle - and we track this individually there should be an opportunity to be able to have this as an option.

Combine the ideas above (stairs, distance, active minutes, etc.) and allow the ability to make teams that face off against one another.

All the challenges in Fitbit is based on running or steps. I would like challenges based of weight lifting, biking. Not every body that is active do cardio all the time, so it would be nice to have challenges for all activities you are able to log.

I would like to request that you have more challenge options in your app.  Like stairs per week/weekend/day challenges, water intake challenges, active minutes challenges, etc.  Pretty much for anything that the Fitbit tracks.  My friends and I love the step challenges, but since it only does steps, it can get boring after we have done them so many times.  Thank you for your consideration!!

Challenges are one of my favorite features of FitBit as competitions with friends causes me and others to step more than usual. Please have your development team spend more time on this feature. I haven't seen anything new in a LONG time.

It would be nice to have full week-long competitions - 7 days - not just the 5 day competitions as some of us get more on the weekend when not working. Month-long competitions would be great as well; longer competitions might promote some friendly wagers as well. If you can implement some kind of prize system someday, that would be cool... like a way to pay to enter competition, you keep 1%, and pay out to the winner the rest. Or maybe something as simple as allowing custom badges/awards to be given to winner for something comical among friends.

Thanks for your time if you ever come across this suggestion!

I have trouble getting to bed on time so maybe it would be cool is there was a type of challenge to see who get get to bed on time (to a time of their choosing) during the week and do a challenge somewhat based on sleep. I don't know exactly how it would work but I think it could be worth looking into, cause Fitbit knows when you fall asleep so it would be hard to cheat.
Maybe also do a step challenge over a whole month instead of just a 5 day challenge. There is a lot of room for creativity In the challenges and I really like them cause they make it competitive and only having 4 is definitely disappointing.

I'd love to see more challenge options maybe that involve active minutes, or peak HR, even water drank ( I haven't started using the water feature yet but I would if there was a challenge to beat!). I work an office job and steps are sometimes hard to accumulate, but I go to the gym, and I bicycle with my dog, so it would be cool to have more challenge features to keep things interesting

You should also be able to be in more than 5 challenges at a time. Like now I'm in 3 week challenges, and my 2 weekend ones have finished but I can't join anything else til weekend syncs. Plus 5 just isn't enough. Neither is a limit of 10 people in a challenge.... That way I probably wouldn't need as Many challenges

I'm sure this has been said lots of times but any idea if there's plans to allow the app to let you have more than 5 challenges at once?!

I need the cap/limit of the amount of challenges and the amount of people playing to be lifted it eliminated! I have lots of friends. And because I can't keep them all in one challenge, I am inmultiple of the same challenges and can't join new ones until the old ones end. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

It would be a great feature if users can create custom challenges to determine the length of time/days included.

Add challenge for active minutes!! I work from home, so all of my steps are active.
