My last FitBit device, the Charge 5, only lasted 19 months, That is pretty short for an electronic device. My wife's lasted even less than that, about 10 months until FitBit offered to replace it. My previous FitBit, the Charge HR, lasted five years. Fitbit devices should have a longer warranty, like 2 years.

My Charge 5 bricked just a short time after the one year warranty ended and will not be replaced.
A longer warranty of say at least two years would give me and other customers (many affected by the same problem) the confidence to purchase a fitbit or replacement. Until then, no more because it feels like a scam.
